Customer Question How much rub will I get with 20x12s and 35x12.5xr20s

Customer Answer If you have a 20x12" wheel with a typical -44mm offset and 4.75" backspace, you'll get a ton of rub with a 35x12.50" tire. Possibly so much that you'll still see rub after trimming the valance and back side of the rear wheel well.

Customer Question For two-piece driveshaft: if the blocks are tapered, then why is a carrier bearing spacer needed? If you still need a spacer with the 2-piece driveshaft, can I get just a spacer kit alone with the longer bolts? I am running an OEM tapered Raptor block and was wondering if I should get a carrier bearing spacer.

Customer Answer The tapering of the blocks only helps with rear pinion angle. A carrier spacer is needed to fix the carrier bearing angle. If you're not currently having issues, you're likely fine.

Customer Question I have a 2.75" leveling kit on a 2018 Ford F150 4WD, 3.0l Diesel w/ 6.5 foot bed. I would like to get it to sit a little higher, but I am worried about the angles with this kit. I have looked a full 4" suspension lift, but prefer not to go that high. Would you suggest this kit or something else?

Customer Answer In theory, the included UCA in this kit will help angles to some extent. That being said, we've never tried it ourselves and can't guarantee what the rest of the front suspension will look like. Also, using a preload spacer and a strut spacer probably won't make for the best ride quality. You'd be better off with a 3" capable coilover and a uniball or high-angle ball joint UCA if you don't want to make the jump to a full suspension lift kit.

Customer Answer This kit will not effect your truck's GVWR/GCWR in any way. That being said, this kit does bring the truck to a fairly leveled stance, so you may end up with some rear squat when your truck is loaded.

Customer Question I have a 2018 f150 crew short box. How do I find out if I have a one piece drive shaft or two?

Customer Answer The easiest way would be to check under the truck. If you have a single-piece driveshaft, you won't have a split in the middle. If you have a split in the dead-center, then you have a two-piece driveshaft. In general, SuperCrew F150s with a 5.5ft Bed came with a one-piece driveshaft.

Customer Question Could I leave out the preload spacer and use the upper spacer and a-arms along with the adjustable Bilstein 5100 struts to achieve the same lift with improved ride quality? Truck is a 2017 2wd supercrew.

Customer Answer In theory, you could, though you would have to be careful with your Bilstein's ride height settings so that you don't go beyond 3.5" of front leveling.

Customer Question Would this kit be really harsh tie rod ends. I don't see how this kit would fox the cv geometry?

Customer Answer This kit will throw off your suspension geometry to at leas some extent, though the effect is lessened by the design of the UCAs, which locates the factory spindle and knuckle lower than where they'd be just using a 3.5" spacer kit. Your CV, tie rod, and LCA angles will still be thrown off, however.
