As part of the truck purchase I had the dealer to agree to install this tank. It fit great and they reprogrammed the computer so the fuel gauge is accurate. I use my truck to tow an 11000# trailer and love the extra range this tank gives me. Stage 3 Motor Sports shipped the tank fast via FedEx.

I love the extra range it gives me. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I am no longer able to use truck stop pump at full speed. The tank won't take the flow.

I absolutely love this product, the craftmanship is exceptional and a perfect fit, took about 1 hour to install. The service and shipping speed from Stage 3 Motorsports was above and beyond my expectations. They offered a great price and I will be back to purchase more from them.

Fast shipping. Received the tank in a couple of days. Easy install. Did not take long at all. Followed the video instructions and had it installed in a couple of hours. The tank does hang down lower than the old one. Probably 2 inches. Turns out Titan makes a skid plate now. Would like to have had that to install with it. I purchased a WiFi OBD ready. Downloaded the FORScan software and made all the changes to my trucks computer so the DTE was correct. Changed other settings as well. For the newer vehicles, it’s no longer changing numbers in the system. It’s just yes or no so you don’t have to worry about messing something up.

LOVE the tank. Have not set the DTE yet. However, drove to Atlanta and bank on one tank and still had plenty of fuel left! Skid plate does NOT fit with the Titan tank. Have to toss it and have something fabricated. Wish Titan would have someone fabricate it, and offer it as an option.

Great product!!! Installation was straightforward, installed it by myself using a floor jack and basic hand tools. The quality is great and the added fuel capacity and fuel range is just awesome. Used the Forescan program to change the DTE. Delivery of the tank was fast and the customer service at stage3motorsports was great.

My wife and I installed the 55 gal Titan Diesel tank on my 2017 Ford F250 4X4 SB. We took our first long trip recently and only stopped once for fuel on a trip from Florida to Virginia. I love the tank, fewer stops for fuel, and the additional range that allows for shopping for lowest price fuel. Excellent product and Stage 3 was great to work with.

Installation took around 3 hours, only difficult part was getting the fill hose clamps loosened. Ford dealers can't reset the DTE because Ford locked them out of this feature, (according to my local dealer). I've been researching the coding to use with forscan to change DTE setting but so far nothing. Quality built product.

Tank is great, fairly easy installation, and the added range is amazing. The only reason I cannot give it five stars is the fact that you can no longer adjust the DTE (distance to empty) settings in the trucks computer. If you have a 2017 or later for truck (per the manufacturer of this product) you must purchase a TITAN LINK OBDII CONNECTOR which is currently out of stock and has been since I purchased the tank. This device connects to the OBD port on your truck and will allow you to set the tank parameters in an app that must be downloaded and connected via Bluetooth to your phone. Major let down. Have to buy another product for this to work as advertised and even then the information is only available on this app and not the truck...

Customer Answer Titan designed these tanks for standard, civilian pumps. According to Titan, you can use high-discharge pumps, but not at their highest flow rates and they recommend just using standard pumps.

Customer Question Will I need to purchase anything else besides the thank or will all my factory parts work?

Asked by: Tad - 12/26/2020
Customer Answer The tank is compatible with all of your factory hardware, pump, and sender. No additional hardware is required. The only thing you'll probably want to do is have your DTE adjusted via FORScan or other programming.

Customer Question With this larger tank can someone recalibrate my fuel gauge and miles to empty. 2018 F350 platinum crew cab shortbed.

Asked by: T-rex - 11/10/2019
Customer Answer You fuel gauge will not require recalibration, as its measurement is taken from the fuel level sensor directly. Your Distance-to-Empty reading will need to be changed either at a Ford Service center or via ForSCAN, since the stock tank size is programmed into that particular reading.

Customer Question Are you looking into making a tank for the 6.2

Asked by: Chase - 9/8/2019
Customer Answer As far as we know, Titan is not planning on manufacturing tanks for the gas-powered trucks at this time, due to the much more stringent requirements needed for DOT-approval of gasoline-capable tanks.

Customer Question Any info on possible warranty problems?

Asked by: Spencer - 10/31/2018
Customer Answer I don't think we've had any so far. The one we put on our 2017 F250 6.7L has seen a lot of abuse and hasn't had an issue, either.

Customer Question Looking to get one for a 2019 F-350 CC SB with 5th wheel prep. Will this one work and can the fuel gauge/DTE be re-calibrated to the bigger tank using FORScan?

Asked by: Jeff - 10/3/2018
Customer Answer Titan has not officially confirmed fitment on the 2019 F250 or F350s as of yet. ForScan is also having some compatibility issues with the 2019 F-Series IPC modules, though that's supposedly going to be fixed in future versions. Your best bet may be to hold off until Titan confirms fitment and ForScan comes out with a version that works on the 2019 models.

Asked by: Michael - 5/16/2018

Customer Question I was told today that the 2017 F250 cannot be programmed to show the larger tank capacity/ miles to empty. Tital representative said the same thing. Do you know how to do it?

Asked by: Texasag - 9/19/2017
Customer Answer If your Ford Service Center can't change the tank size to correct your distance to empty, you can do it yourself using FORScan by accessing your IPC parameters.

Customer Question Can you recalibrate the factory gas gauge to work with this tank?

Asked by: NEIL - 8/14/2017
Customer Answer You can, however, you will need to use Ford's IDS at a Ford Service Center to adjust for the larger tank's size to correct your fuel gauge and miles to empty. ForScan may be able to make the change, but we're not sure which specific parameters need to be changed.
