AMP Form & Function

The BedXTender HD Max features a U-shape design for maximum cargo capacity to keep the gear in your truck secure. It provides the extra clearance needed when used with some tonneau cover rails. Flip it out with the tailgate open to gain up to 2' of enclosed cargo area. Flip it inside and close the tailgate to keep tools and smaller cargo contained in the truck bed. Installation is simple and easy. This AMP bed extender is available in Silver or Black powder-coat. Select your preferred finish using the drop-down menu above.

I have a 2022 F 150 supercrew, sprayed in bedliner, and a Retrax MX Pro retractable cover. Will the Amp bed extender work with this configuration? If not, is there a bed extender that will? Thank you!

AMP designs their bed extender to fit under the rails of tonneau and you should have no problem with it working with the Retrax brand tonneau covers.

Would this work with a bedliner?

With the width adjustability of this bed extender, a layer of bedliner will not affect you from being able to install and use this bed extender.

F150 6.5ft bed, does this sit on the wheel well when inside? Or lay flat in the bed?

Can you remove this easy or do you have to unbolt it? Does it work with a retrax tonneau cover?

The actual Bedxtender assembly is fairly easy to remove from the truck, and is not bolted down. However, its bracket assemblies are bolted into the truck and can't easily be removed. The Bedxtender may not work with all Retrax tonneau covers. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can confirm your particular model.

According to AMP, the BedXtender will also fit the SVT Raptors.

Nope. The BedXtender HD Max will work fine with the optional tailgate steps. The BedXtender Sports will not fit on trucks with the tailgate step, however.
