The intake doesn't require tuning or other upgrades, making it almost hassle-free.

Direct Bolt-On Replacement

S&B's F150 cold air intake kit includes new inlet tubing, a dry disposable air filter, a specialized S&B heat shield, hardware and instructions. The kit is built to be a quick, bolt-on replacement for your factory air box. The included filter is up to 99.61% efficient and keeps dirt and other particles out of your truck's engine. Replacement Air Filters: It's recommended that you switch out the Disposable Dry Air Filter in this Cold Air Intake at least every 30,000 miles. We carry two different options for the CAI. You will need to look at your filter's flange on the bottom where it connects to the unit to determine which one you need. If it has a wide, oval flange that is perfectly centered, you'll need to purchase this  S&B Dry Filter Replacement (KF-1031D). If if has a circular flange that is offset slightly, this S&B Dry Filter Replacement (KF-1049D) is correct for your CAI.
