2015 F150 Lariat
Install was straight forward and directions were clear and easy to follow. Took me about 1.5 to 2 hours. I can say one thing, the stock intake is an over engineered fun killer, that Coyote wants to howl and this intake lets it at full throttle. As far as butt dyno feel, it might have a slightly better response to throttle but I didn't do any scientific before/after tests. I'm sure with a tuner I'd see an obvious improvement, that's a future purchase along with catback exhaust. For now the wife loves smashing the throttle and hearing her truck growl.

Stage 3 motor sports customer service was great.Love the look of S&B cold air intake and sound when you step down on the throttle love the growl. No increase in gas mileage notice engine breathing a lot better

Well built air system took a little over an hour to assemble and install. Had a little difficulty getting the view glass into place I had to pry the right hand side of the air box up just to get the screws started but other than that it's in place and the tunes have been installed. And what a difference, very responsive and deepened the exhaust note a little.

Customer Question The S&B CAI oiled vs. dry are the same price...but the dry requires changing the filter every 30k miles and that's $65 each time. What's the advantage of the dry filter if I can just clean the oiled one whenever, for much cheaper, and lasts longer? Thanks!

Customer Answer The principle advantage of the dry filter is that you don't have to worry about oiling at all. More importantly, you don't have to worry about overoiling the filter and damaging your MAP or MAF sensors.

Customer Question The link to the replacement paper filter in both previous questions take you to the filter for the 3.5 filter. Is that the correct replacement filter for the S&b 5.0 kit too?

Customer Answer Yep. This kit uses the same filter as the 3.5L EcoBoost F150s, which is here.

Customer Question Which is better dry filter or oiled filter?

Customer Answer Neither is really "better" than the other, it really just comes down to a matter of preference. The dry filters are easier to maintenance, since you just remove the dirty filter and throw a new one on. The oiled cotton filters save you some cash in the long run, since they're reusable. Both flow roughly the same.
