If you're like me and mull over purchases you absolutely can't go wrong with this intake. Everything feels very solid, bolts up nicely, and blends in nicely with the engine bay. As side bonus is the price is easy on the wallet when compared to other brands. The intake is very quiet as well. Note: If you're interested in a UPR catch can this intake does not interfere at all with the catch can or it's tubing

Install was pretty easy .. looks great and I have been getting 2mpg better in the fuel because the throttle is more responsive because of more air so I don’t have to push the gas as much, 10 speed transmission is staying in a higher gear , plus at 65 tach is alittle below 1500 vs over 1500 rpm So overall I am extremely happy with my purchase best upgrade for under $500 I have made.

This is an excellent upgrade, I could feel the power increase right away! It was fairly easy to install myself, took under 2 hours. Worth the money! Add a tuner and your v-6 will smoke any v-8!

Construction appears to be good, everything fit as it should and without issue. Slight increase in MPG and throttle response, louder spool and more audible dump valve sound. Pleased with my purchase. My only negative on this kit is the application of the edge seal to and installation of the window, it takes a little fiddling to get everything perfect. Would recommend loosely installing all screws on the window first to avoid having to muscle anything into place.

My girlfriend got this for me as a graduation gift and I love it. It definitely increased top end boost and I've seen a slight increase in MPG, and I have a very heavy foot. Turbo spool and blow off are also noticeably louder from the cabin, not so much from the outside. The only complaint I have is that the instructions don't really make sense, there are certain things that it says need to be disconnected or relocated on a 21+ truck, but that wasn't my experience at all, I literally just dropped it in like nothing.

Very impressed with the overall quality. This intake actually does improve the airflow directly to the filter unlike others that keep the low-slung bottleneck ram air scoop. Sound and power gains are minimal at best but it looks great. I would definitely buy again

One of the first upgrades I always do when getting a new car is an exhaust and intake. Haven’t got to the exhaust yet but this intake is perfect. I had one on an older Ram and was impressed so wanted to try with this truck…did not disappoint. It bolted up perfectly, sounds good with extra boosty boi noises. I am sure it gave me some better mpg but can’t keep my foot out of it to test. Only issue I had was there was no screws or washers for the clear cover, no big deal went to local hardware store got screws the same size as the instructions and some fiber washers for less than 3$. All good to go!

Customer Question Will this fit a 2017 3.5 or can you make it fit? Not sure what the differences between the 17 and 18 are… I found this model in my home town and wanted to skip the shipping

Asked by: Blake - 2/19/2024
Customer Answer 2015-2017 F150 with 3.5L engines use part number 75-5081. This listing will not work with a 2017 F150. We could not tell you what modifications you would have to make on this kit to make it work on a 2017 model, or if you would have any check engine lights. It's best you just purchase the 75-5081 part number designed to work with your 2017.

Customer Question California owned 2021 F-150 Lariat FX4 3.5l Ecoboost. Has, or when is this CAI getting the CARB approval or has it already ? I see in a video a CARB sticker on the air box.

Asked by: Wim976 - 5/8/2023
Customer Answer CARB approval is currently pending on these, S&B has an option for automatic notification once CARB is approved.

Customer Question Are the oiled filters bad for the 2019 EcoBoost engine? I believe the early EcoBoosts only likes dry filters. Will I need to update my tuner (that I got from y’all) to use this kit? Have y’all dyno’d a 2019 EcoBoost F150 (non HO) with this kit and your 93oct performance tune?

Asked by: Johnengineer - 6/2/2020
Customer Answer As long as you avoid over-oiling, you should not have an issue. Over-oiling does present a bigger problem on the EcoBoost trucks, since you can damage other components other than your MAF/MAP sensor like on a naturally-aspirated truck. You would not technically need a retune for this kit, though you can get a new tune if you'd like. We have not tested this kit on a newer truck. You likely won't see huge gains, but main pick up 5-10 peak horsepower or so.

Customer Question what is the difference between a oil filter and a dry filter ?

Asked by: James - 4/10/2020
Customer Answer The most notable difference is that an oiled filter uses a media that requires filter oil, while a dry filter does not require oil. In general, an oiled filter will have better filtration and capture more/smaller particles than a dry filter. However, oiled filters can be a bit annoying to deal with. In S&B's case, their dry filters can't be reused, but some manufacturers do have reusable dry filters.
