Innovative Design With Quality Components

Help your Super Duty perform better by greatly increasing the amount of airflow with this cold air intake from S&B. Part of this this new kit includes a new innovative snap in lid design which greatly improves the installation and inspection process. The new snap in lid helps the filter to be installed and removed without having to worry about removing the intake tube. It includes a silicone edge trim that ensures an airtight seal that protects against any power robbing heat. S&B also includes an intake tube that features minimal bends that connects it directly to the turbo. This turns it into a clean line with minimum obstructions from the turbo inlet to the intake box. The design helps it to have less restriction compared to stock.

Easy Customizable Installation Process

S&B also includes a silicone box with this particular intake that allows you to choose the type of airflow. One thing you can do is remove the silicone box plug and it can help provide an extra air inlet that will be pulled from the passenger side fender. Or you can install the silicone box plug and it will seal the secondary air inlet on the side of the box. What this does is ensure that the front facing grill inlet and front scoop will become the main source of airflow. S&B also constructed this air intake to be able to work with aftermarket tuning or regular stock calibration. on the air intake itself there is an injection molded MAF plate in conjuction with a foam MAF sensor gasket that ensures a true OE seal to the sensor.
