Convenient Access To Your Truck Bed

With the BedStep2, AMP Research has created a faster, easier, and safer way to access your toolbox and cargo from the bed of your Super Duty. It mounts to either side of the bed of your truck, just behind the cab and is easy to operate. Side of a Super Duty

Took about an hour per side in the drive way on my back with NO power tools. Hardest part was getting it to line up with the existing bolts. Product works GREAT on our NEW 2017 F350 SUPER DUTY for access to my tool box since the vehicle sits so high.

2019 F250 Lariat FX4

Took about 45 minutes and there is one hard 21mm nut to get retorqed, just need a wobbly extension. To make it easier to get the bracket installed, pull back on the bumper when you try to line it up with the bolts. Sure will help climbing in and out of the bed, nice quality product.

2017 Ford Superduty

Great product and easy install. 45min to install, everything lined up and fit great. Now I can reach my gear in the bed of the truck.

Can this be mounted to a 2022 f350 lariat crew cab 8’ bed? Una to confirm as I’ve been told this bedstep II only mounts on a 6’ bed. Can it mount on a 8’ bed?

AMP lists this as works on all bed/cab configurations and makes no mention in any documentation or instructions of it not working on a 8ft bed. We have not heard of any issues with 8ft bed fitment so you should not have any problems.

This step does require minor amounts of drilling for installation. Check out AMP's install instructions here.

AMP has not outright confirmed fitment on the 2022 Super Dutys as of yet, though we'll probably get one here pretty quick once AMP gets some 2022 models in for fitment testing.

This price and part number is for a single step. A quantity of two will be required if you want a step for both sides of your truck.

How wide is the step? Depth? Does it have a non slip finish/coating to prevent slipping off while leaning over the bed rails? Thanks

The step area measures 10-3/4" wide x 6-3/8" deep x 1-3/4" tall. The step doesn't have a non-stick coating, but the textured top of the step does a pretty good job of keeping your foot in place if you're wearing decent shoes.
