Aluminum Shock Bodies with Large-Diameter Pistons and Monotube Internal Design

Rough Country designed their V2 shocks to give your Ranger improved performance in a quality package. Each V2 rear shock is built around an T6061 brushed aluminum body that dissipates heat much more effectively than steel body shocks. Inside the body, the V2 uses a monotube design with an internal floating piston that separates the shock oil and nitrogen to mitigate cavitation so that you get consistent performance no matter how hard you're pushing your truck. A 36kN tensile strength offers a longer lifespan with impressive vibration dampening. Inverted top and bottom mounts both use an eye mount design. When extended, the length of the shocks is 30" while the collapsed length rests at 18.4". The shocks are topped off with a metallic silver paint and are backed with a 3-year limited warranty.
