Customer Question Will the 7899 sway bar kit for six lifts work with the Mag Hytech diff cover? 2014 F-150 FX4. I’m also interested in the Hellwig front sway bar are there any stronger end links with polyurethane bushings available? It looks like my stock end links are bent with the stock sway bar. My truck is weighted down with heavy winch bumpers and a roof rack. Don’t tow but much but truck weighs 8,000 lbs. Looking for less body roll on the highway. Truck is so huge. super crew 6.5 foot bed it doesn’t see much off road only a few dirt roads occasionally.

Customer Answer We have not tried that combo of rear cover and sway bar, but you could measure from where the cover would bolt to the differential and see if you have 3 1/4" of clearance as that is the height of that cover. Hellwig does not make any upgraded links for the 12th gen F150 unfortunately so we would not have any options at the moment. The sway bar is a good bit thicker than the factory bar so it helps a ton with body roll if you are having those issues.

Customer Question Will this work with airbags

Asked by: Evan - 8/26/2021
Customer Answer That will depend on the specific air spring kit you're using and how it installs. Many Air Springs that mount to the axle won't work with this sway bar, since they require the same axle real estate. Air Springs that install between the leaf springs and the frame will likely not have issues. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your air springs and your truck's lift.

Customer Question Will the Hellwig 7899 Adjustable Rate Rear Sway Bar (noted for 4" to 6" lifts) still work with a 6.5" or 7" lift kit with 3.5" to 4" total rear lift?

Asked by: Jerry - 2/10/2021
Customer Answer As long as the 6.5" or 7" lift uses either a 4" or 5" rear block, then you should be good. The lift rating for this sway bar is more about NET lift, and most 4-6" lift kits use 2" stacked blocks, 4" rear blocks, or 5" rear blocks.
