2015 FORD F150 XLT 5.0
I installed it myself, 4 hours, a lot longer than it really needed to take including setup. The clamps that come with the exhaust is 100% crap, I do not trust any of them so I went to AutoZone mid install and got clamps from there, $8.99 each stainless steal, they worked great. So get new clamps before even installing. I took out the old exhaust and installed this myself with no cutting. Sound to me is not as extreme as I have thought by other reviews, then again I own a Mustang with SLP Loudmouth Pipes. I feel like i can driftish out the neighborhood and not wake a soul. I love the sound and I don't feel a drone problem, maybe KNN 776 CAI and SCT X4 has changed that for me. You hear it and say Ford V8.

Install was easy and under an hour. Nice system only issue was that I was missing one clamp. This is a loud system so if that is what you are looking for this is definitely it. Love it and get lots of compliments..

This thing is loud. There’s nothing modern about it in my opinion. It’s 100% aggressive. My buddies 7 year walked by my truck with a paper cup of water, I floored it and he jumped so high his water spilled all over his face, At 5am it rumbles through the house, I idle through my neighborhood, when there’s a lag on the 5.0, the drones pretty loud (I notice it at 45, 65, 70), and the passenger side exit rear piece has a downward bend instead of straight out like drivers side. I got used to it, no long road trips, but a lot of in town driving. I thought about changing out the muffler section, but the overall result I got used to quick.

Installing this system was a breeze. As far as sound goes, it's gnarly! Drone in the cab at 60mph is there. When there is a slight load it hums pretty good. Other than that it's definitely American thunder!

Customer Question Is it possible to have the polished tips swapped with black tips?

Asked by: Michael Bungori - 5/20/2019
Customer Answer Unfortunately, this kit only comes with polished tips as standard. Black tips would need to be purchased separately.

Customer Question Will this work with the larger 36 gallon gas tanks, and can you keep the spare?

Asked by: Mike - 4/19/2017
Customer Answer This kit will work just fine with 36-gallon fuel tanks, and you can keep your spare tire as long as it's the factory spare and not an oversized spare.

Customer Question I have the F150 lariat FX4. Will this exhaust fir my truck?? I'm only asking because it says that it doesn't fit the naturally placed F150?? What is the naturally placed F150??

Asked by: Robert - 1/3/2016
Customer Answer According to Flowmaster, this kit actually will fit the naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6. The issue with the 2015 and 2016 F150s is that there is a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (turbocharged and direct-injected) and a naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6 (no turbochargers with standard rail injection), and not all parts and exhaust systems are cross-compatible.

Customer Question Hey do yall have a video of this installed on an Ecoboost yet? Before dropping this kind of money I wanted to hear how it sounded if possible.

Asked by: Derek - 10/30/2015
Customer Answer We haven't started our exhaust testing as of yet, though it will probably be happening here in the near future.
