Improves Handling Without Too Much Stiffness

The stock rear shocks on your 2005-2014 Mustang aren't made for high-performance driving. If you want to free your Pony up and get consistent racing suspension performance, you'll need a set of rear racing shocks. This rear Koni STR.T Rear Shock (sold individually) is a low-cost, uprated performance replacement for your Pony's factory rear shocks that provides a huge reduction in body roll, acceleration squat, and fade. Koni's STR.T Rear Shock is compatible with most standard lowering springs so you can pair it up with a set of springs as well.

Twin-Tube Design with Extra-Large Piston

The STR.T Rear Shock features a larger diameter piston than stock and an increased oil capacity to provide excellent response and lower levels of fade. Each shock has a twin-tube gas-charged design with specialized valving that firms up your Pony's suspension just enough for improved performance without making your ride too harsh. The STR.T comes standard with an orange red finish and has a boot for extra protection.
