Great product, economy tune improved mpg by 2 and the towing tune better than the stock tune. Initial problems with first monitor, spent time on the phone with the CTS techs and can tell you they are the tops!!

Customer Question I'm looking into buying an F350 6.2L gas....I currently have an Edge CTS (first model)...can I use that tuner for an F350? If so, how? Different engine size and A/F's ratios

Asked by: drh442 - 3/4/2016
Customer Answer I don't believe that the older Edge CTS's supported the 6.2L Super Dutys, though they did support the 6.2L F150s.

Customer Question Will this item read engine codes on other vehicle makes and models as well or only on F150's?

Asked by: JT - 12/30/2015
Customer Answer It can read and clear codes on most Ford vehicles made from 1997 to present. However, if you're not real interested in the tuning abilities of this device (or own a vehicle that's not supported by Edge's tuning), then you'd probably be better off with the Insight CTS2 Monitor, which will save you some money while still getting you that particular functionality.

Customer Question Will this tuner let me adjust me speed limiter?

Asked by: Richard - 12/5/2015
Customer Answer The CTS2 does allow for speed limiter adjustment, though we personally don't recommend pushing it above 125mph on most vehicles due to driveshaft concerns.

Customer Question Can I change the units of the monitor (speed mph to km, temps. F to c) From imperial to metric for instant ?

Asked by: Ali - 12/4/2015
Customer Answer Yep. The CTS2 can display metric values for most of its output parameters.

Customer Question How much horsepower and torque does this one output, whats the difference between this one and the one thats a little less?

Asked by: Justin - 8/25/2015
Customer Answer Horsepower and torque depend entirely on your vehicle, but the tuning between the old CTS and this new CTS2 hasn't changed. The CTS2 is an updated monitoring device with a larger screen, more features, redesigned menus, and overall faster and more responsive software.

Customer Question Does this unit work with the new 2.7 ecoboost?

Asked by: Rob - 8/8/2015
Customer Answer Unfortunately, Edge does not have tuning for the 2015 F150s at this time, though it should be released here in the near future for all of the 2015 F150 engine options.

Customer Question Do all of the pressure/temperature features on this monitor such as boost psi read through the obd2 on the vehicle or do I have to buy certain harnesses that edge sells in order to view these specific parameters?

Asked by: Avery - 8/2/2015
Customer Answer That entirely depends on the vehicle. Most newer Ford cars and trucks that come from the factory with turbochargers do output boost pressure in PSI through the OBD-II port, while a lot of older vehicles do not, and vehicles that have been fitted with aftermarket superchargers or turbochargers will definitely not. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get specific about your vehicle.

Customer Question Is this programmer CARB legal?

Asked by: zack - 7/13/2015
Customer Answer The CTS2 does have CARB-Approved tunes for the vehicles that it supports, however, the EO numbers are different between the vehicles, so if you do need a specific EO number, your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433.

Customer Question Just wanted to be really sure. This works for the 5.0 correct? And what are the torque and horsepower numbers on it?

Asked by: 2012 single cab 5.0 - 6/24/2015
Customer Answer It does work on the 2011 to 2014 F150 5.0Ls. Edge quotes a maximum of a 25 horsepower and 28lb-ft of torque increase in output when using their tuning.

Customer Question Will all the features functions of this tuner work if I don't install a tune? I want to keep the stock/factory engine tune until warranty expires. However, would like having the extra gauges and rear view camera function...

Asked by: Brett - 6/14/2015
Customer Answer Yep. All of the monitoring features of the CTS2 will work just fine, even if you don't upload a tune.

Customer Question Is this, or will you ever be able to add some custom tunes from 5star to this? I like the features and how there is a dash mount pod for this, opposed to there not being o e for the livewire

Asked by: cody - 5/30/2015
Customer Answer Unfortunately, Edge does not support custom tuning at this time.

Customer Question Is the new tuner still compatible with edges's dash mount and cts adapter?

Asked by: Tyler - 5/28/2015
Customer Answer According to Edge, the CTS2s will technically fit into the gauge pods with the CTS adapters on some vehicles, but because of the larger width and height of the CTS2s, there are issues with the monitor coming into contact with the dash or blocking vents. Edge is planning on releasing revised pods/adapters for the CTS2s here in the next couple of weeks, so your best bet would be to sit tight.
