The AMP Smart Series Steps are made out of high-quality materials and feature a drop-in design that only requires minor wiring to get up and running on your truck. The steps themselves are made out of extruded aluminum and feature a redesigned profile that perfectly fits in with your 2015-2020 F150's body lines for a clean look when both stowed and deployed. The actuating arms come with motors and were carefully designed to drop right onto your F150's stock step mounts on the body pinch welds. The Smart Series Steps come with all their necessary wiring, and tie directly to your battery for power and tap into your F150's OBD-II port for actual operation. The control box mounts away from the steps, but also ties into your smart phone via AMP's app, which allows you to override the automatic functions of the steps so that you can drop the steps even if your truck's doors are closed.
