Customer Question Will these fit a 2013 with a 6 in RC lift? If not, does Fox offer a coil over?

Asked by: Edward Postan - 11/26/2024
Customer Answer You would need to switch to a 2014 year lower control arm for these to work at the 2013 F150 uses a different lower coilover mounting than the 2014-2020 F150 does. Unfortunately Fox discontinued making the 4-6" coilovers for the 09-13 trucks.

Customer Question I have a 2012 f150 and was wondering if these Coilovers were still compatible with the 2012 still being in the same generation. Thank you.

Asked by: Daven - 4/21/2024
Customer Answer The 2012 F150 uses different lower shock to lower control arm mounts than the 14-20 F150 so they would not be bolt on replacements. You would need to swap to 2014 lower control arms to be able to run these coilovers.

Customer Question I have a 4in procomp lift on a 2015 f150. I’m looking at purchasing new coil overs. Will these fox 2.5 coil overs fit my procomp lift kit? Does anyone have any experience with installing these coil overs on the procomp lift kits any known problems? Thank you!

Asked by: Dalton Arnold - 3/13/2024
Customer Answer These coilovers are designed to be full length replacements for any 4-6" lift kit so they will work no problem on a ProComp lift. They are preset to 6" out of the box, so you would need to also purchase the fox spanner wrench part# 803-00-732 so you can adjust them down to work on a 4" ProComp kit.

Customer Question What is the ride height set out of the box?

Asked by: Andrew - 2/10/2024
Customer Answer "Preset Ride Height Note: these coilovers come out of the box preset for 6" lift kits and will need to be adjusted down for F150s equipped with 4" suspension lift kits."

Customer Question 883-02-114 Will this part fit my 2012 f150 raptor on 4.5 lift?

Asked by: Esgar Guadalajara - 1/24/2024
Customer Answer No, this part number is just for the non-SVT F150 trucks and will not work on a Raptor.

Customer Question I have a 2018 4wd f150. I currently have a 4” rough country lift that was on the truck when I bought it. I’d like to swap out just the coil over assembly for a better ride. Will these be compatible with all of the rough country part currently installed?

Asked by: Payton durrant - 9/18/2023
Customer Answer Yes, these will work with the 4" Rough Country lift kit as full length replacements.

Customer Question Can you go more than 6inches on these coilovers? I wanting to run around 7.5 inches and I was wondering if you could lift higher than 6inches.

Asked by: Hall - 7/26/2023
Customer Answer The body of the coilovers has threads that will put you above 6" of lift, but Fox does not recommend going above the 6" lift height as you will start to affect ride quality.

Customer Question Will this fit my 2021 4WD 5.0 F150? It’s got a 6” lift from SCA trucks, I’ve seen on other retailers that these seem to be good up to the 23’ model but I wanted to confirm.

Asked by: Cjo - 6/7/2023
Customer Answer Yes, as long as you have an aftermarket 6" lift kit installed, you can fit these no problem on a 2021.

Customer Question So I have a 2015 Ford f150 4wd, I have a 4.5 inch super lift I wanna upgrade to the fox coilovers. I want to run 4.5 inches now but later I’m getting different rims and tires and want to run 6 inches with those. What shocks would be best for what I’m looking for?

Asked by: Collin - 11/16/2022
Customer Answer These coilovers will feasibly allow you to run 6" of lift up front. For the rear, you'll have to decide how you want to get some extra lift, and then base your rear shock choice on how much lift you're planning to add. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about what you're trying to do.

Customer Question I have a 2015 f150 with a procomp 6 inch lift. Would these coil overs be a direct replacement for the procomp coil overs?

Asked by: Paul - 5/23/2022
Customer Answer Yep. These coilovers would be a direct replacement for Pro Comp 6" lift coilovers or a 6" strut spacer/stock coilover combination.

Customer Question I have a 2016 4wd 4 inch bed about to move to a 6 inch will it fit and does it come with the mounting hardware

Asked by: Mason - 2/21/2022
Customer Answer If you have a 4" lift kit and you're planning on jumping to a 6" lift, these coilovers can help you do that. Mounting hardware for the coilovers themselves and the remote reservoirs are included.

Customer Question I have a 17 F-150 RWD with a 4in BDS lift. Would this go in place of my current coilover& 4in strut spacer? Also, would i be able to adjust the coilover up to 5-6 inches with no problems with my current 4in lift?

Asked by: Andrew - 5/28/2020
Customer Answer This coilover kit will fit in place of your stock coilover and strut spacer on your BDS 4" Lift Kit. You can technically adjust the coilovers up a bit with your lift kit. Just keep in mind, that when you add ride height like that, you'll be throwing off your suspension geometry, which could definitely cause issues if you go too high.

Customer Question I have a 4wd 2016 F-150 with pro-comp 6" lift. Would you recommend the BDS 6" fox coil overs over these? If so, why? what's the difference between the 2?

Asked by: Mike Justice - 2/6/2020
Customer Answer There's not much of a difference, honestly. The only appreciable difference is that the BDS 6" Coilovers will be at 6" of lift out of the box. I believe the Fox coilovers are at 4" and need to be adjusted up. Once they're at similar ride heights, they're functionally the same.

Customer Question Will these work for a 2018 6 inch procomp lifted RWD F150

Asked by: Paul - 12/29/2019
Customer Answer These coilovers should work on an RWD truck with a 6" lift, you'll just need to take some care in adjusting them to the ride height you need, since their ride height ratings are for the 4WD F150s.

Customer Question If I’m running the mcgaughys lift on a 2014 F-150, would these be the Coilovers to lose the strut spacers or are the ones that say for 6” kits?

Asked by: Matt - 11/12/2019
Customer Answer Your better bet would be the BDS 2.5 Coilovers with 6" Lifts, though you will have to raise their ride height slightly to hit the McGaughy's 6.5" lift mark.

Customer Question Is this compatible with a 2019 F150 equipped with the power stroke 3.0

Asked by: Zack - 10/18/2019
Customer Answer If your truck is equipped with a 4-6" Lift kit, then yes. However, you'll likely not quite get the same amount of lift as these coilovers are rated for on the gas-powered trucks, due to the extra weight of the diesels.
