Customer Answer Fox doesn't guarantee it, and we haven't tried it ourselves. We have not received word on whether Fox is coming out with 2021-2022 specific part numbers, but that is likely the case.

Customer Question I am running the ReadyLIFT 3.50-Inch SST Suspension Lift Kit on 35”. Will these shocks work with the 2.5” rear lift?

Customer Answer The ReadyLift 3.5" SST Kits come with 3" rear blocks that provide around 1.5" to 1.75" of rear lift, depending on your model year and submodel. If your kit uses a 3" rear block, these shocks will work just fine for you. If you're using s different sized rear block that adds 2.5" of rear lift, these shocks will not be long enough. Customer Question Looking at these for the adjustability factor for towing a camper. Can I mix brands? Say these in the rear obviously and King coil overs ? Also if the rears are adjustable, do the front coil overs now need to be as well?

Customer Answer There's no reason why you couldn't mix and match brands, and you by no means need adjustable front coilovers while having adjustable shocks. That being said, while shocks can help some with towing stability, there's often more cost-effective upgrades, depending on how bad your towing stability and handling issues are. Customer Question I have a 6” BDS lift installed on my truck, no extra leaf (yet). I’m looking to upgrade the rear shocks to match the front DSCs. I see these are only recommended up to 3” lift. Which ones are compatible up to 6”? Been looking everywhere but can’t find them. Thanks!

Customer Question Would these shocks work with the 4 inch BDS Coilover kit if the rear block was 3 inches instead of 4?

Customer Answer If you do use a smaller block, you would be able to use these rear shocks. These shocks can feasibly handle up to 2" of rear lift over stock, and a 3" rear block would put you at around 1.5" of net lift over stock.

Customer Question Are these worth the extra money for the adjustment? I bought billstein 5100s for the rear but they are almost as squirrely as factory shocks.

Customer Answer It really depends on what you're looking for. 2.5 shocks and coilovers tend to be pretty stiff on the road (though Fox is on the softer side of the spectrum), and being able to adjust them softer than standard 2.5s can save you some ride quality on the road while still getting good performance off-road at the turn of a dial. Whether that's worth the price jump over the non-DSC 2.5s is up to you and how big of a stickler you are for a soft street ride. Judging by the fact that you're unhappy with the softness of the Bilstein 5100s, you may be fine with the standard 2.5s. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 if you need further information.

Customer Answer In general, these shocks will not work with most 4" lift kits out of the box. The exceptions are 4" kits that use 2" stacked blocks or kits that use up to a 3.5" rear block. However, most 4" lift kits use 4" rear blocks, which adds too much ride height for these shocks. If you have 4" of actual net lift in the rear, then these shocks will not work at all.

Customer Answer These shocks will fit your truck as long as you're at factory ride height in the rear or only using either a 3" block or basic 1.5" Add-a-Leaf Kit for lift.

Customer Question Will these Shocks work on a 04 f150 4x4? Do they require special mount hard ware or just use the factory bolt? Would there be any concerns for changing the mounting placement/position? How often (roughly) do they require service?

Customer Answer According to Fox, these shocks will work just fine on a 2004 to 2008 F150. The listing has been updated to reflect the new information. They don't strictly require new hardware, and can reuse the factory bolts and nuts. That being said, if your factory hardware is corroded, has seen better days in general, and/or your application is going to be fairly aggressive, then you may want to consider upgrading to stainless steel or grade 8 hardware.

Customer Question Are these shocks available for the BDS 6" suspension lift? I have the 2.5 Coilovers and I'm currently looking to upgrade from the 2.0 rears to the 2.5's.

Customer Answer Unfortunately, we don't have a set of 2.5 Fox rear shocks for 6" lift kits as of yet. The next best thing we have is Fox's 2.0 with Remote Reservoir. However, you can call us directly at 1-877-578-2433, and we can see if Fox has something that may work for what you're trying to do.
