Motive Gears 4.10 Gears & Install Kit (Ford 8.8)
Gears are one of the best investments you can make for your Mustang. While they don't add any horsepower or torque, they allow your Mustang to use its power more effectively and really come alive right off the line. This complete package comes with a set of Motive 4.10 Gears and a Motive Master Install Kit that gives you everything you need to overhaul your Ford 8.8" rear end, and keep everything working flawlessly for thousands of miles. 4.10 Gears are an excellent choice for supercharged Mustangs or anyone who wants to go for broke at the track. 4.10 gears give you an excellent launch, more low-end power, and fast shifts at the expense of fuel economy. If you want a real edge over your competition, then this kit is for you. This complete Motive gear and install kit package will fit Ford 8.8" rear ends like those that came stock on 1986-2014 Mustang V8 models.
This Kit Includes:
- Motive 4.10 Street/Strip Gears
- Front & Rear Pinion Bearing
- Carrier Bearings
- Carrier Shims
- Differential Bearings
- Ring Gear Bolts
- Brush, Gear Marking Compound
- Crush Sleeve
- Pinion Nut
- Pinion Seal
- Loctite & Cover Gasket for RTV
Speedometer Info: Changing your Mustang's gear ratio will throw off your speedometer calibration. An SCT Handheld Tuner can correct this.
Pinion Bearing:In 2010, Ford changed the rear pinion bearing in their 8.8 rear end. This means, the rear pinion bearing include in this install kit will NOT work with your 2010+ Mustang. The correct rear pinion bearing is Ford Part #9L3Z-4630-A and can be order through your local auto supply store.
Many of high-quality performance parts and accessories require freight shipping due to their size, bulk, or manufacturer's preferences. Freight shipping is only available to the Continental United States (AK, HI, Puerto Rico, etc. are not able to order items that ship via freight service). It takes roughly one to three days for Stage 3 to process a freight order and carefully prepare your order for transit. After our freight carrier picks up the product, a Stage 3 representative will email you tracking information for your order.
Once your shipment has arrived in your general area, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule the actual delivery. Most freight companies can only schedule for a particular day and not a specific time, because of their volume of deliveries.
After your order is delivered, it is extremely important to completely inspect your package and items for damage before signing the Bill of Lading while the delivery personnel are still there. You are solely responsible for thoroughly inspecting your items before signing any documentation. Carefully note any damage to your items or anything unusual on the Bill of Lading. Keep a copy of your papers and contact Stage 3 immediately if there is any damage or irregularities. Damage caused by transportation qualifies you for a refund and/or replacement only if any and all damage is properly documented on the Bill of Lading.
Please keep all of the item's original packaging for up to 30 days in case your product needs to be returned. All damage claims will need to be processed by our Returns Department and require clear photographs of the damage to your parts.
Some of our products are so large that they require the use of a lift gate or dock to effectively unload. Unfortunately, we can only offer free shipping to business addresses with those products. All orders that contain products that require a business address for free shipping will be checked, and if a residential address has been selected as the shipping address, that order will be held until we contact you to either change the address or elicit further payment for delivery to a residential address.
Contact Stage 3 Motorsports or check out our standard shipping policy if you have any additional questions or concerns.
