High-Performance RAM Clutch & Flywheel Upgrade Package

If you're a Mustang owner who is just starting to make modifications to your Pony and need a little more holding power than stock, the HDX Clutch Kit from RAM Automotive is a great solution. We at Stage 3 Motorsports have put together this kit which contains both the HDX Clutch as well as the compatible RAM 6-Bolt Flywheel. Capable of handling up to 450 lb./ft., this clutch will instantly allow you to shift easier and provide an overall improvement of your drivetrain's ability to handle lots of power and still perform reliably. With regards to RAM's full lineup of clutch kits, this would be considered a Stage 1 Upgrade -- your next step up from the setup provided as factory stock. While there are clutch kits that can handle a lot more power, adding one that is made to handle way more than your engine is generating can create just the opposite results and negatively affect your performance. Utilizing an organic facing on the disc, RAM's HDX Series Clutch Kit promotes smooth gear engagement with greatly increased rotational strength.
