Capable of handling up to 450 lb./ft., this clutch will instantly allow you to shift easier and provide an overall improvement of your drivetrain's ability to handle lots of power and still perform reliably. With regards to RAM's full lineup of clutch kits, this would be your next step up from the setup provided as factory stock. While there are clutch kits that can handle a lot more power, adding a clutch that handles more horsepower than your engine is generating can create just the opposite results and negatively affect your performance. Utilizing an organic facing on the disc, RAM's HDX Series Clutch Kit is the equivalent of a Stage 1 Modification and promotes smooth gear engagement with greatly increased rotational strength.
