Design That Is Durable Enough To Withstand The Test Of Time

If recently you have given your truck some larger wheels and tires, looking into this Detroit Locker Differential from Eaton would be a great idea. After adding larger tires this differential will ensure maximum traction on many different terrains. Eaton designed this to have a heavy duty construction with a simple yet effective design. In additon to the design, the TrueTrac uses a patented design of parallel-axis planetary helix gears to provide a quiet automatic splitting of torque. This design has been proven to be durable and sustainable for the past 60 years. Eaton also engineered this differential to be able to work with front or back axle as long as it fits the proper parameters. This differential is meant for Dana 60 axles specifically with 35 splines, a 1.5" axle diameter and a 4.56 or higher gear ratio.
