ICON's F150 Remote Reservoir coilovers provide your tough truck with greatly improved response, compression, and rebound all while providing a staggering reduction in fade and heat buildup during even the most violent, sustained, and consistent suspension articulation. These coilovers don't just improve suspension performance, they can also provide your truck with up to 2.63" of front lift to allow you to squeeze on impressively sized wheel and tire combinations. Large Coilovers with Remotely Mounted Reservoirs

The coilovers are built from the ground up for massive strength, excellent reliability, and flawless performance on any terrain. The coilovers are each built around a massive 2.5" diameter shock body that's made out of a high-quality aluminum alloy. The large size allows for more oil to be present in the shock body at any given time while the aluminum construction allows for excellent levels of heat dissipation to reduce fade over more standard shocks. The coilovers' shock body is wrapped in a specially designed Eibach coilover spring that's seated in heavy-duty CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum mounts. Each coilover has a 7/8" Nitro Steel shaft and finely-tuned valving for maximum off-road performance. The coilovers come standard with FK rod bearings for their lower mounts for reduced deflection when under load. The remote reservoirs included with these coilovers come with hose, mounting bracket, and installation hardware.

Wheel Fitment: these coilovers will only fit 8" or 9" wide wheels with a maximum of a 5" backspace in order to clear the remote reservoirs with a 12.50" wide tire.

2014 F150 Fitment: this kit will not have proper, bolt-on fitment to a 2014 F150 due to changes Ford made to the 2014's front suspension. A version for 2014 F150s is also available. Call 623-434-5277 for more information.

2010 F150 Lariat

Well, still in process of trying to install these as the upper holes just don't line up. Burned through my Dremel it caught on fire struggling to clearance the holes open so got some burr bits and grinding stones for a drill. I don't have a compressor or air tools or this woulda' been done already, pic attached of the problem. I had the same problem with the AFE coilovers they didn't line up either so returned for the Icons. I guess if got a cheaper setup with studs like the OEM this wouldn't a been a problem. Frustrating to say the least but hope to resolve this soon as another hurricane bears down on us and the dang truck's still up on jackstands. all that said I these look like the best built remote rez setup and their upper A arms are super nice. Wish me luck getting this done finally.

Firstly, what is the in/lb rating on the these particular coil springs? If it would be necessary could y’all or Icon direct offer the coilovers with different spring rates? Secondly, are these coilovers supposed to come set at 2.25 inches of lift or is the spanner tool a must? Also, does icon give recommended levels for them to be set at? I feel like I’ve heard the term “preload” tossed around at times.

1). These coilovers come with 600lb-in springs. Unfortunately, they do not offer different spring options for their coilovers. 2). These coilovers come pre-set at around 2" to 2.25". There is some variability due to the different engines and cab configurations causing different curb weights. If you're very particular about your truck's ride height, grabbing the spanner wrench is a very good idea. 3). ICON does not have a specific ride height recommendation, as long as you don't go beyond 2.63" of front leveling. That being said, the higher you go, the stiffer your ride quality tends to be, due to the amount of preload on the springs. 4). "Preload" is the amount that the spring is compressed before any damping action. These coilovers adjust ride height using spring preload, since the greater the preload, the taller the truck is forced to sit. However, increasing preload also tends to stiffen up ride height the more you go. Since the ICON 2.5s are already pretty stiff to begin with, you may not want to go with the full ride height adjustment.

I have a 2013 f150 fx2. I was wondering with the 4x4 model will mount and function properly with no issues?

This kit will bolt up to an RWD/2WD F150. However, you will get slightly more lift out of the coilovers than what they're rated for on a 4WD truck.

what the difference between CON-91800C and ICON-91800 ?

ICON-91800C features ICON's CDCV system on the remote reservoirs which allows for compression adjustment of the coilovers. ICON-91800 just has standard remote reservoirs without compression adjustment capability.

i have a 2009 f150 with a 4 inch lift. can i install these coilovers? and if i can what do i need?

The coilovers will not work in a standalone application with a full 4" lift kit. You would need to use the coilovers in conjunction with a 4" strut spacer and get ICON's spanner wrench so that you can crank the coilovers down to a lower ride height so that you're not above your lift kit's rated ride height.
