I cannot believe the difference I felt over the stock Fox 2.5 Shox! I was hesitant on the price but they were worth every penny in my opinion, and I did my research on all top shock brands believe me. This is a mod that you will feel where you're money went and you won't be let down! One big thing sticks out to me that was surprising and that's the adjustment knobs on the reservoir really do give you a seat of the pants feeling difference when you move them from soft to hard. Great product, and I would buy them again if I did it all over!

2011 Ford SVT Raptor
Overall pretty happy with these front shocks, huge improvement over stock shocks. I would have liked to know I had to relieve a part of the shock tower in order to install them, something Stage 3 fails to mention in their install video, it wasn’t a problem to do for me but could imagine that guy all super stoked to install his new goodies only to find he can’t do it because he doesn’t have the tools to do it. Another note is that you will want to add approximately 2” more of preload before you install these if you want your truck to have a level stance, buy the spring perch adjuster tool. The Stage 3 salesman said they come adjusted for level ride height with stock rear springs and blocks, when I got them mounted up and put it on the ground it looked like a hot rod with about a 2” difference between front and rear. Adjusting these before you install them will be way easier, because even at full installed extension there is still a bit of pressure on the spring. As far as ride quality goes they are quite good, quieter than the Fox 3.0’s. On road handling is awesome, some people say they feel too stiff, but huck it into a corner at 80+ and feel the front end dig in, ass end easier to rotate now. Off Road I adjust them from softest setting to 5 clicks in they work really well especially in really fast stuff where you are cycling everything really quickly. Overall stoked on my purchase. Another note is that I really like how the reservoirs mount vertically.

Customer Question I’m running my fox factory shocks at top perch with 37 inch tires, how much more lift would these give me over what I currently have? Or does the top 3.0 adjustment equal top perch setting with the factory fox shocks?

Asked by: Raptor2012 - 3/13/2021
Customer Answer It's my understanding that the top perch on the stock Fox 2.5s nets you about 2.5" of ride height. According to ICON, their 3.0s are capable of adding up to 3.5" of front leveling, though we don't recommend going beyond 3" of total ride height. Regardless, the ICON 3.0s are capable of more ride height than the perch mods, and shouldn't effect your current fitments.

Customer Question Would running these at 2.5" to 3.0" of lift be the equivalent of running the stock Raptor shocks at mid perch, in regards to height only? Thanks!

Asked by: Mike Johnson - 6/27/2020
Customer Answer In regards to ride height, 2.5" would be closer to a Top Perch setting on the stock 2.5s. Mid-Perch is roughly 1.5" of ride height, from my understanding. 2.5" of leveling does get you much closer to a dead-level stance, however.

Customer Question With Stock raptor LCA's, UCA's, Axles, And Tie Rods; I could put these coilovers in my 2010 Ford F150 4wd Lariat?

Asked by: Caleb J Nelson - 9/12/2018
Customer Answer You'd also need factory Raptor steering knuckles in addition to all the parts you've already listed, but in theory, you could. I still wouldn't recommend all that work, given that a set of bolt-on ICON 2.5 Remote Reservoir Coilovers is more than adequate for even extremely aggressive off-roading.

Customer Question What is stopping me from putting these in my 2010 Ford f150 Lariat 4wd?

Asked by: Caleb J. Nelson - 9/11/2018
Customer Answer A lot. Namely the fact that these coilovers are much longer than the factory front coilovers on standard F150s, and you would need a 4" lift to even use them. They're also capable of a lot more travel than stock/stock replacement coilovers, so you could have issues with suspension geometry during articulation and possibly even breaking something.

Customer Question How many inches of lift I could adjust ?on the icon 3.0 , without damaging CVS

Asked by: kaled - 10/25/2017
Customer Answer As long as you stay at or below 3" of front lift, you should not see a dramatic decrease in CV axle lifespan. That being said, if you are going to be pushing the truck extremely hard off-road, then staying at 2.5" of leveling or lower would be wise.
