It's no secret that most shocks included as standard with a lot of 6" lift kits just can't cut it when it comes to flying around off-road, much less after tens of thousands of miles on them. ICON's 2.5 VS IR Rear Shocks for 2009-2014 F150s with 6" lift kits provide massive improvement over basic white-body and black-body shocks so that you can push your lifted F150 to the limit both on and off-road. The ICON 2.5 VS Rear Shocks feature massive shock bodies, performance-oriented valving, and high-strength construction that allows them to handle and absorb extremely violent impacts during aggressive off-road applications. The large diameter of the shock bodies also provides improved cooling over more standard 2.0 rear shocks thanks to additional oil volume. The ICON 2.5 IR rear shocks install right into place of your 6" lift kit's original shocks without any cutting, drilling, or other permanent modifications.

Huge 2.5" Diameter Steel Shock Bodies Monotube Design, Digressive Valving, and Spherical Bearings

ICON's 2.5 VS Series Rear Shocks are designed from the ground up to provide awesome levels of performance in a quality set of shocks that won't totally break your bank. Each shock features a 2.5" diameter steel shock body with a gas-charged, monotube design. The shocks use a vehicle-specific, digressive valving that keeps your truck's rear-end plated and firm during street driving while allowing you to take hard hits when you're thrashing your F150 around off-road. The shocks have a 7/8" diameter hardened steel shaft with chrome plated finish that's incredibly strong and resistant to corrosion. The shocks bolt-on to your F150 using spherical upper and lower bears housed in CNC machined billet mounts with a black anodized finish that both looks great and provide much more strength than rubber or polyurethane bushings. The shocks are fully rebuildable and feature an easy, drop-in installation.

Fitment: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 F150 with 6" lift kit.

For use with 6" lift kits only: these shocks will only fit on a 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 F150 equipped with a 6" lift kit. They will not fit a truck at factory ride heights, nor add any lift to the rear end of your truck.
