I replaced the Rough Country shocks that were with my lift from them. I should have just went with BDS to begin with. The Fix shocks are SO much better in ride quality. The Rough country shocks were harsh and my truck felt like it was going to jolt apart. With these, normal ride quality again.

These shocks ride great and are slightly firmer then stock but ride like you would want it too. I purchased these after running Bilstein 5125's in the rear that gave a bouncy ride on the highway and over small bumps. Tne Fox shocks are valued so well they are very stable and keep the wheels planned on every surface condition and helped reduce bed sway on my lifted truck .

Customer Question Could i possibly run these with a 6 inch lift?

Customer Answer These would not be long enough for most 6" lift kits. You would need BDS FOX98224760 for the correct length on most 6" kits.

Customer Question Will these work on a 2022 f150 with a 3.5 inch rear block?

Customer Answer These are made for the BDS 4" kit with 3" rear blocks so a 3.5" block would be within the spec of the shocks.

Customer Question Can you add a remote reservoir to these shocks? If you can, what would be the part number?

Customer Answer You technically could, but it's pretty cost-prohibitive when you factor in the cost of the shock, cost of the reservoir and hose, and labor. Your much better bet would be the Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shock for 4" Lifts right here.

Customer Answer That really depends on what amount of rear lift your kit is running. If your kit has either a 2" stacked block or a 4" rear block, this shock will work. Customer Answer This shock is a bit too long for a 3" rear block, and is really meant for 4" lift kit applications that use a 2" stacked block or 4" rear block. If your truck is using a 3" rear block, you're only at 1.5"-ish of net lift. Customer Answer This shock will likely be too long for your application. With that combination or parts, you're essentially at a 0" rear lift, and should use the stock-replacement Fox 2.0s.

Customer Question Will these work with a 2020 f150 with a ReadyLift SST 3.5 inch lift

Customer Answer This shock is slightly too long to be used on the ReadyLift SST Kit's 3" rear block and is meant for either a 4" block or a 2" stacked block. You would need a rear shock meant to handle 1.5" of rear lift. We generally recommend the Eibach Pro-Truck Rear Shock, but there are others that will also work.

Customer Answer There's no reason why you couldn't, though depending on what you're doing with your truck, you'd probably be better off with an Add-a-Leaf kit or something similar. Customer Answer That somewhat depends on the specific Rough Country part number. If it only comes with a 2" rear block, this shock will likely not work. However, if the kit came with a 4" rear block, then this shock should work fine. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about your lift kit.

Customer Question How well do these shocks perform as far as towing is concerned? I often to my 5k lbs. Travel trailer and would like to know whether or not these would be a good fit for my F150.

Customer Answer They'll definitely help with handling and sway, but as far as GVWR/GCWR is concerned, they have no positive or negative effect. Just use a suitable drop hitch for your lift kit, and you should be fine.

Customer Question Will these work with a rear block size of 2" to 2.5" or can they only be used for the BDS 4" lift kit?

Customer Answer This rear shock is designed for use with either 2" stacked blocks or 4" rear blocks, which provide a net ride height increase of 2" to 2.5". A 2" or 2.5" rear block that replaces your truck's factory rear block only add a net lift of .5" to 1", respectively, and you can use the standard replacement Fox 2.0s here. If you have a different rear block/ride height setup in mind, your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277.

Customer Question I have a 2007 F150 with a 4.5” lift. The rear has the 1.5” stock block, another 1.5” lift block and a 1” add-a-leaf. Will this work for me?

Customer Answer As long as that Add-a-Leaf Kit is really just 1", then this shock should work fine. However, most add-a-leaf kits are rated for 1.5" of rear lift, and if that's the case with your truck, your better bet would be the BDS Fox 2.0 for 6" Lift Kits.

Customer Answer It would not. This shock is designed for 4" lift kits that use either a 2" stacked block to a 4" rear block. Your better bet would be to use the Halo Lifts Boss 2.0 Rear Shocks which are designed to handle a 2" of rear ride over over stock on 4WD F150s.

Customer Answer This shock would probably be on the long side, since you're only at 2" of net lift. You may want to consider the ICON 2.0 Rear Shock or the Halo Lifts Boss 2.0 Rear Shocks.

Customer Answer Unfortunately, neither Fox nor BDS have standardized part numbers for their 2.5 Fox shocks that fit lifted applications at this time.
