Huge Improvement over stock! Much less wobble over bumps. Feels more controlled. Great upgrade if your keeping your truck stock height. Wish I would have done this upgrade sooner.

I'm running a 2.5 leveling kit with 35' Toyo M/T tires this stabilizer is extremely better than stock. I could tell it as soon as I got in the truck makes steering a tad bit tighter (which I love tight steering it means more control) I would recommend to anyone that isn't running a big lift and tires... LOU is the man with the plan get in touch with him and he will give you the best advice for your set up and get you what you need extremely fast... stage3 is where I purchase everything aftermarket for my truck you just can't go wrong with them

Customer Question I have a 2022 F250 4x4, will this stabilizer fit? Reading the Q&A makes it difficult to determine what it fits. Thanks, Alan

Asked by: Alan Campbell - 8/26/2025
Customer Answer Yes, this replacement stabilizer shock will work for your 2022 F250 as long as you currently have the existing single factory stabilizer. This is a drop in replacement for the factory unit.

Customer Question I have have a 2015 F 250 Super Duty Lariat I get the death wobble I replaced the steering stabilizer with a standard one but I still get the death wobble not often but it still happens. Will this help with this problem

Asked by: Steve Strauser - 9/28/2022
Customer Answer If your steering stabilizer is the issue, this will likely help. However, there's also a lot of other parts and components that can cause death wobble, including your track bar, ball joints, hubs, or other components. You may want to get your truck looked at to hunt down the specific cause before you throw more cash at the problem.

Customer Question Is this the correct steering stabilizer for a 2020 F-350 4x4?

Asked by: Darin V. - 2/5/2021
Customer Answer It is not. This particular part number will not fit a 2017-2020 Super Duty. The closest equivalent would be the 2017-2020 Super Duty Fox 2.0 TS Steering Stabilizer.

Customer Question Will this fit a stock 2016 f-250 super duty with no leveling kit?

Asked by: Troy - 1/13/2021
Customer Answer Yep. This is a stock-replacement steering stabilizer and does not require additional ride height for fitment.

Customer Question This fox steering stabilizer an replacement of the factory stabilizer? I have a 2017 f250 with 2.5” leveling kit with 37” tires on factory wheels and I would like to get a better steering but I don’t want to buy a dual stabilizer kit if I don’t have too.

Asked by: Taylor - 2/19/2020
Customer Answer This part number only fits a 2008-2016 Super Dutys. Fox has a 2.0 TS Stabilizer for the 2017-2019 Super Dutys which can help you. However, with 37" tires, you may be better off with a dual kit, especially with heavier mud terrains or 13.50" wide or wider tires.

Customer Question I was looking at the dual kit for 17-19 and found this link in some of the Q&A. I see in the previous comments that this won't fit 2017-19 trucks. Is there one specifically for it? If not, whats involved in the "slight modifications"? I have a ready lift 2.5 with 325/60R20s. No death wobble, but serious bump steer. I work pipeline and travel off road a lot. recommendations? I just changed all 4 shocks out to Fox 2.0 with reservoir.

Asked by: Derek Simon - 5/6/2019
Customer Answer A complete 2017-2019 Fox Dual Stabilizer Kit is available here. However, if you're only getting some bump steer (and if you're not running big tires) you may want to try the Fox 2.0 TS Single Stabilizer or possibly using a track bar drop bracket or adjustable track bar.

Customer Question Will this shock fit a 2018 f250 in the stock location?

Asked by: Aaron - 1/4/2019
Customer Answer Not without modification to the mounts, due to slight changes Ford made in the 2017-2019 Super Duty's steering stabilizer design.

Customer Question how does this compare to the stock steering shock on a 2014 f250, will it help make the steering stiffer?

Asked by: Jake - 8/1/2018
Customer Answer It can add a mild amount of stiffness to steering feel. However, the benefit of reduced or eliminated death wobble and improved stability tend to outweigh that very slight issue.

Customer Question have a 2014 f250, what has better control to prevent bump steer and woobling, this replacement shock or running a dual fox 2.0 sterring stabilizer kit?

Asked by: JAKE - 7/31/2018
Customer Answer Technically, any comparable dual steering stabilizer will have better control and stabilization capability than a single shock. That being said, jumping up to a dual kit may be a bit overkill depending on the size of your truck's tires and just how bad your wobble and stability problems are. In general, if your truck is leveled and running 35" tires, then this single stabilizer is probably plenty. If you're running a full lift kit and 37" tires or larger, you may want to consider a dual kit, especially if your wobble issues are particularly bad.

Customer Question Just added dual Fox steering stabilizers to my 2017 F250 w/a 2.5 level which retained OEM stabilizer. Would it be a good idea to replace the OEM with this one? Would I gain additional performance? Also how difficult would it be to swap this out with the OEM one? Thanks

Asked by: Marco - 5/18/2018
Customer Answer If you already have a dual stabilizer system installed, you really don't need to bother replacing the OEM one. Secondly, this steering stabilizer will only fit 2008-2016 Super Dutys, and will not fit a 2017 truck without modifications.

Customer Question Do you have a shock like this that fits a 2008 F250? I see this certain shock is for 2011-2018

Asked by: Joshua Garza - 4/3/2018
Customer Answer Fox has actually confirmed fitment of this stabilizer back to the 2008 model year Super Dutys. We've updated our listing with the new information.
