It's design includes anodized aluminum body which is specifically chosen be able to dissipate heat a lot faster than the conventional steel body shocks you often see in the marketplace. The shock's remote reservoir allows for a much greater oil capacity and cooling capability than a standard internal reservoir shock, as well as more general travel so that you can really push your Super Duty hard off-road.

High-Quality Construction With Bolt-on Installation

Fox engineered this shock with a 2.0in impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body that in addition to dissipating heat is also able to resist rust overtime, making it reliable and sustainable for the long haul. The folks at Fox created this shock with a race-developed high-flow piston design that works directly with the application specific valving mechanism to maximize the performance capability. Installation of this product made to be simple, Fox includes a universal bracket that works in conjunction with the quiet nitrile rubber bearings that provides bolt-on installation for immediate improvement.
