The standard shocks that come on your 2017-2026 F250 or F350 Super Duty just aren't cut out for extremely aggressive off-roading, which makes the extra ground clearance from big tires kind of moot. Well, our friends over at Fox Shocks have a solution for you with this Performance Series 2.0 IFP Rear Shocks for Super Dutys at stock ride height to 1" of lift. This shock is a leaps and bounds improvement over typical white-body shocks, and even performance shocks that are included in some lifts. The Fox 2.0 features an internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design that separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen.

2" Diameter Aluminum-Body Shock

The Fox 2.0 IFP Shocks bolt onto your Super Duty. The shock itself is 2" in diameter with an aluminum body that improves cooling capability over the majority of steel-body shock on the market. Each shock has a 5/8" chrome-hardened shaft and valving that's been finely tuned to offer your truck excellent off-road performance with making your street ride too harsh. The shock mounts are made out of CNC machined billet aluminum and come standard with nitrile rubber bushings that resist more deflection than stock, but are still extremely quiet.

Big difference over stock shocks. Off road (dirt road, with rough sections) is much more bearable. Truck doesn't shake nearly as much and jarring has pretty much been eliminated. On road seems a little firmer but in no way uncomfortable. Handles pot holes and rough patches better and with less felt impact. Only concern is there are no dust boots and I live in area that roads can become muddy, time will tell.

2018 F350 CCLB

Much better rear reaction all on road conditions than the junk FX4 OEM shock.. IMHO. Have not towed with the Fox shocks yet but did not like the FX4.

2018 Ford F350 - Powerstoke

Premier product - far superior compared to OEM shocks that come on the truck. Factory shocks only lasted 40,000 miles & floated horribly on rolling hills/rough roads. Fox 2.0 fixed that & smoothed out the ride severely. Pending the passenger & how vehicle save they are; they compliment how smooth my truck rides for a one ton - Fox shocks have brought back that ride quality. Car wash tip: wipe down the body of the shock every time you wash you truck - they stay looking new! I will be purchasing a whole set for my 2016 F150 when I roll 40,000 miles on it!

2017 Super Duty CC 4x4 6.7 PS

I bought these shocks for the front and rear to replace already worn out factory shocks at 30k. I had recently installed rear air ride and BDS Recoil track bars and it made the truck ride incredibly rough before replacing the shocks. I can honestly say the truck now rides better than when it was new. They are well worth the extra money over Rancho replacements and look forward to see how the noticeably higher quality will withstand the elements.

Do these shocks fit the truck without the rear block? Have a 2018 fx4 and am planning to pull the rear block to do a reverse level, but want to know if these will still work

These shocks are only rated for a Super Duty at factory ride height, and aren't guaranteed to work with a block delete.

How doesn't he valving if these shocks compare to the Bilstein 5100?

The Fox 2.0s use linear valving versus digressive valving for the Bilsteins. In theory, linear/progressive valving has a softer ride than digressive valving, but valving is only one factor when it comes to ride quality and performance. Out in the real world, the on-road ride quality between the two is pretty similar, though the Fox 2.0s tend to edge out the Bilsteins when it comes to off-road performance due to their larger diameters and aluminum bodies.
