The standard shocks that come on your 2017-2026 F250 or F350 Super Duty just aren't cut out for extremely aggressive off-roading, which makes the extra ground clearance from big tires kind of moot. Well, our friends over at Fox Shocks have a solution for you with this Performance Series 2.0 IFP Front Shocks for Super Dutys at stock ride height to 1.5" of lift. This shock is a leaps and bounds improvement over typical white-body shocks, and even performance shocks that are included in some lifts. The Fox 2.0 features an internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design that separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen.

2.0" Diameter Aluminum-Body Shock

The Fox 2.0 IFP Shocks bolt onto your Super Duty. The shock itself is 2" in diameter with an aluminum body that improves cooling capability over the majority of steel-body shock on the market. Each shock has a 5/8" chrome-hardened shaft and valving that's been finely tuned to offer your truck excellent off-road performance with making your street ride too harsh. The shock mounts are made out of CNC machined billet aluminum and come standard with nitrile rubber bushings that resist more deflection than stock, but are still extremely quiet.

2018 F350 with max towing & payload package

I love the new Fox shocks. The ride is much smoother and they take the jarring and shaking out of the rear end when you hit bumps compared to the stock shocks. Well worth the cost and time to upgrade. Some people claim they are a pain to install and that is correct if you don’t have the right set up. Since these shocks mount inverted compared to the factory shocks, you can use hydraulic car jack with a socket that fits the end of the shock piston rod to push it up into the mounting location. Makes the installation so much simpler.

2018 F250

The shocks have been just what I expected. They are not a soft 'Cadillac' ride. They are firm but take the bite and shake out of the stock shocks. The tail shudder that you get sometimes on some bumps goes away. As a note these are a real pain to install. I would advise using zip ties to compress the shock for install. They are too stiff to simply compress by hand. Overall very happy with these shocks. For further data, I am not someone who really has the desire to lift my truck and likes to keep it stock. I just desired a better ride. I looked at Bilstein and Ranchos also.

2017, F-250, 6.7L, 4x4, CCLB

Big difference over stock shocks. Off road (dirt road, with rough sections) is much more bearable. Truck doesn't shake nearly as much and jarring has pretty much been eliminated. On road seems a little firmer but in no way uncomfortable. Handles pot holes and rough patches better and with less felt impact. Only concern is there are no dust boot and I live in area that roads can become muddy, time will tell.

2018 Ford F350

Snow Plow Prep, Camper Package (Max payload). Absolutely hated the OEM FX shocks. These ride much better on frost breaks and rough streets as well as bridge joints on the Interstate. Expect these might help prevent death wobble in combo with upgraded trackbar and FOX ATS SS on otherwise stock suspension (no lift or leveling).

2017 F350 Lariat

I had a "clunk" in my trucks front end, and after some research and a few parts, I discovered my problem was worn out factory-install Rancho shocks (at 39,.000 miles}. I purchased 4 Fox 2.0s and I am very happy; problem solved. I was a Bilstein fan, but my last set of 5100s wasn't that great, so I wanted to give Fox shock a try. I have been very impressed after a few days behind the wheel. They fixed the "hopping" over potholes and uneven pavement. The ride is much improved as well.

2020 F350

Replaced original shocks with these. 2K in and they are just the thing the truck needed. The original equipment shocks were already showing signs of failure.

2024 F250 7.3 Godzilla

I’m 64yrs old and installed front & rear Fox Shocks in my driveway on my 2024 F250 extended cab short bed relatively easy. My truck only has 6,000 miles but decided in the long run it was worth upgrading my shocks. So the bad news Driving under 45MPH you feel everything, even with 35” tires @ 60 PSI it’s bone shaking. I drive miles of washboard dirt roads and it’s miserable. On the other hand at freeway speeds 60+ MPH the Fox Shocks are excellent it feels like you’re floating down the highway and I mean that in a great way. Sure footed but smooth, in fact my truck rides better than my CT5V Cadillac. Bottom line if you drive miles on the highway these are great however if you speed time on bumpy back roads you might want to look elsewhere.
