While your 2009-2020 F150 may be one capable truck, after leveling or during aggressive off-roading, you may find that your factory upper control arms just aren't up to the task. ICON's Billet Delta Joint Upper Control Arms are a leaps and bounds improvement over the factory control arms both in strength and in capability. Each control arm in this kit is made out of incredibly strong materials and features ICON's Delta Joint heavy-duty ball joint that offers the reliability of a traditional balljoint, but also the strength and deflection of a performance uniball. Each UCA also features caster and camber adjustment, thanks to their thread heim joint frame mounts which make it easier to dial in your F150's alignment after leveling or lifting the front end of your truck. The ICON Delta Joint Billet Upper Control Arms are the last UCAs your aggressive 2009-2020 F150 will need, and they'll handle extreme applications without letting your Raptor down.

6061 Billet Aluminum Control Arms with ICON Delta Joint and Heim Body Mounts

Each ICON Billet Upper Control Arm is built extremely tough in order to resist warping, bending, or cracking during aggressive off-road driving. The main body of the control arms is made out of CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum with a boxed design that give them much greater strength than stock while staying fairly lightweight. The ICON Delta Joint features a fully-sealed design that keeps dust, dirt, and other grime out of its moving parts which gives it much improved reliability and longevity over a traditional uniball joint. While resembling a ball joint, the ICON Delta Joint has more deflection for improved droop travel and is also much stronger so that it won't pull apart during heavy articulation. The ICON control arms are held to the truck using durable FK Rod End 7/8" heim joints that thread into the UCAs, which allow for some amount of camber and caster adjustment. The control arms come standard with built-in O-rings and a dust cover cap for the Delta Joint.

Fitment: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 F150

Wheel and Tire Fitment: these control arms require a wheel with a maximum of 5" of backspace in order to clear a 12.50" wide tire.

Will my F150 w/ vision Rocker 18x9 and BFG KO3 in 285/65/R18 have the spacing clearance for these? No idea how to calculate the 5 inch backspacing while mot next to my truck.

A 285 wide tire is only 11.2" wide on tape measure so you should have no clearance issues. The backspacing note is in regards to trying to clear a tire that is 12.5" wide which is a 315 in metric sizing.

Have a 2020 F150 with Methods MR318+25 on 35x12.5R17s. Planning on doing a full ICON CDCV set up will these work with the +25?

+25 mm offset on a 8.5" wide wheel is a 5.7" backspace. According to Icon, you will most likely have some sidewall tire rub with a 12.5" wide wheel. That same wheel in a 0mm offset is what you need to run if you want to run a 12.50 tire with aftermarket control arms.

On 6” pro comp lift 2016 F150 20 x 10 fuel rims & 35 x 12.50 Toyos AT3 so just purchased the 2.5 Fox Coil overs w/ reservoir s the extended ones and I’m curious if these upc will be needed or grims? Will there be clearance issues around a stock upper control arm without these upgraded versions? Thank you

UCAs are not required with that setup, with a wheel setup like that any clearance issues will occur on the outside of the vehicle, bumper etc, there will be no clearance issues around the factory UCA.

I'm running 6" Bds with Fox DSC 2.5 coilovers, my wheels are 18x9 with a +1 offset, these will work with my set up and 12.5" wide tires with no problem yeah?

According to ICON's backspacing specs, your wheel and tire combination should clear, though you are right on the borderline with a 5" backspace, so make sure your tire's overall width isn't too much greater than its 12.5" section width.

Will these UCAs fit on a 2008 f150 XL 4x4 i did see the description that says 2004 - 2020 f150 but I noticed icon dynamics doesn't carry the billet UCAs for a 2008 model on there own website only the tubular UCAs. Just want to make sure they fit before spending $1,000+ to then deal with the headache of a return.

I have a 2016 F150 with a rough country 6 inch lift with coil overs extended to 8 1/2 inches of lift. I was looking to get upper control arms to fix angles that should have been corrected by SPC control arms. A lot of people have told me to use grim off-road upper control arms. I was looking at those, or these as an option. What would you all recommend being the best UCAA to put on?

No UCA is going to actually "correct" your thrown-off angles. All an aftermarket UCA will do is better handle the new angles and help you avoid spring contact during articulation. Frankly, there's not much you can do taking a 6" lift up another 2.5". Especially if the lift kit in question is really a "tall" 4" lift kit.

I'm running 20x9" wheels +18 offset & 295/60/20 AT2's. Would these fit my '19 f150?

According to ICON's backspacing specs, you should be able to clear a 295/11.6" wide tire with that wheel, since the wheel has a 5.71" backspace.

I have black rhino wheels with a -18mm offset and a 4.54 back spacing. Not sure the exact size of my tires but I know they are 34.5 inches. Will these clear my set up?

We would need to know your specific wheel width and tire width in order to give you a solid answer. That being said, at 4.54" backspacing you'll be able to clear a 12.50" wide tire.

My rims are 17x8 0 backspace. Will these fit 12.5?

I am running 35 inch tires mounted on the stock 20 inch wheels with a 1 inch wheel spacer. Will I have any clearance issues with these UCAs? I have about a 3 inch left between the strut spacer and adjustable shocks.

These UCAs require a maximum of a 5" backspace to clear a 12.50" wide tire. If you're using a 35x11.50" tire, you'd be able to clear with a 1" wheel spacer on the stock wheels. If you're using 12.50" wide tires, you would need to jump up to a 1.5" wheel spacer in order to hit the 5" backspace figure, since the stock wheels have roughly 6.5" of backspace.

These UCAs should fit without issues, assuming you wheel and tire combination meet the backspacing and width requirements of the UCAs.

These UCAs will work fine at 2-3" of leveling, and will work fine with Elka 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers.

After watching that install video taking like 4min, I just for the life of me cannot figure out the pricing scheme on these UCA products. $700-$1400 to replace a factory part that's like $60 or $70 OEM? I just don't get it. Help me understand.

There's light years of difference between a basic set of stamped steel UCAs with a rubber bushing that are produced en masse in either Mexico and China versus tubular or billet UCAs that are made in the USA and feature something like the Delta Joint, hardened steel heim joints, and whatever else that make these UCAs and other tubular UCA a leaps and bounds improvement over stock. Secondly, you're also not factoring in what you're NOT paying for with aftermarket UCAs, which is an off-road tow/recovery after you shear your stock UCAs or their balljoints, especially if you're doing the type of off-roading we at Stage 3 tend to do. Now, if your truck is predominately used on the street and only sees the occasional forest road, then UCAs probably aren't necessary. If you feel these UCAs aren't worth it to you, then they probably aren't.
