Unfortunately, factory bump stops are virtually useless at this. Our friends at King Shocks makes a bump stop that drastically outperforms stock counterparts. The King Shocks 2.5 x 4" Bump Stop generates maximum damping force, preventing your vehicle's axles from coming into contact with its frame or body.
Expertly Designed for Durability & Excellence
The King Shocks 2.5 Bump Stop has a 1-5/8" diameter shaft with a tensile strength of 75K pounds per square inch. It has an extended seal life due to its hard chromed and polished 6 RA finish. The shaft also features an O-ring to help gauge shift travel. The 1/8" thick, precison bored bump stop body is cadmium plated to remove buildup for optimum valving function and a tight piston seal. Aircraft quality billet aluminum components add to this stop's durability. To keep the valve clean and free of dirt or moisture, a double sealed Schrader cover mounts to the body. An indexing pin also pairs with the stop's unique mounting boss design to locate the bump stop without pinching the tube's outside. The bump stop will fit most bump stop systems built for 2.5" hydraulic bump stops. This product uses a nylon contact pad for a quiet operation and an easy single bolt design.
