This Power Stop Extreme Performance Package offers you a great way to ditch the weak and worn stock brake pads and rotors of your Mustang for premium braking components that enable you to stop your Mustang quicker and in less distance than your factory brake pads and rotors. This complete kit contains a pair of drilled and slotted rear rotors and a full set of Z16 ceramic rear brake pads to replace your factory stock rotors and pads and improve stopping distance and give you more control for aggressive braking.
Heavy Duty Rotors
Each of Power Stop's drilled and slotted rear rotors are manufactured from heavy-duty cast iron. All of the drilled holes lead down into the rotor's internal vanes which help to dissipate heat and move it all away from the friction surfaces. The surfaces of each rotor are also slotted which aids in moving brake dust and volatile gasses away from your Mustang brake pads for more reliable and sustained braking performance.
Powerful Ceramic Brake Pads
The kit's Z23 pads feature a specialized ceramic formulation that improves braking performance over stock while causing less noise, dust, and wear on both the pads and the rotors. Power Stop's Z23 Evolution Ceramic Brake Pads can provide up to 20% more stopping power than stock pads and are each thermal scorched to limit the amount of time it takes to bed and break in.

Power Stop Extreme Bedding Note: The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.
