2001 F350 cab chasis 4WD 8' BED & 2K CAP CRANE
This 2011 F350 4WD, Diesel, stock is a dual "Do ALL" purpose vehicle built Ford tough, tested daily in the urban jungle of Los Angeles, to the high desserts, to vehicle extractions in Big Bear, and has done all in one day. This vehicle abuse, "use" is clearly identifiable by two easy to compare items, tires & brakes. Everyone is with me, 63,000 miles, just into fourth set of tires currently, Cooper Discoverer ATP 285 65/R18 stock size, from two sets of Goodyear Wrangler, AT Adventurer, Kevlar, and the stock OEM throwaways General. ANYWAY, several near misses, & I mean twice, all of us should have died, at 65-70 mph, DO NOT expect us to slow or stop anytime soon, two of the rice grinders caused me to turn rotors purple, roast calipers, blow phenolic pistons trying not to kill you. Once that first glazing is done, stopping is TOTALY a planed event. I am into Power Stops Z36 Brake job close to 500 miles or so. No way at all to judge or compare the Factory OEM Brakes to PS. WRONG, With the drilled & Slotted Rotors, Ceramic pads? I can swear to 3 things, 1 a little scary in 32 degrees stopping the first couple of time, 2 once warmed up, brakes are just amazing, 3 on a recent run to Santa Monica from HB, heavy traffic, constant cutoff, I didn't realize how exact the brakes were until a panic stop whereby I planted my nose onto the wind shield!!!! Exactly right after the seat belt choked the crap out of me, yes now I am scared of panic stops, the other side. In conclusion, without question, POWER STOP is now a preferred vendor, ALL our fleet will switch over in time, Ford OEM parts almost triple what I got race quality components from POWER STOP. AND Thanks to Stage 3 Motor sports fir support, THANK YOU SIRS!!!
