The factory brake rotors and pads on your 2011 to 2014 Mustang GT were never really that impressive to begin with, and years of use doesn't help. When it comes time to replace your factory rotors and pads, you could go with lame OE replacements, or you can up-gun your Pony with this complete Power Stop Brake kit. This total braking system overhaul replaces your factory rotors and pads on all four wheels of your Mustang with improved hardware that will give you improved bite, more stopping power and less brake dust than basic blank rotors and metallic pads. Each Power Stop Mustang brake kit comes with four drilled and slotted rotors for the front and rear of your pony and four sets of Evolution Sport Z23 ceramic brake pads to give you uprated replacement for your wearable brake parts all in one place.
Heavy Duty and Efficient Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Each of the rotors included in this package were built from the ground up to provide your Mustang 5.0L with improved stopping power and less fade than your factory blanks. Each of these cast iron rotors feature CNC drilled holes that lead into their internal vanes which helps dissipate heat that builds up on the contact surface during normal operation. The slotted surfaces on these rotors clears brake dust and other debris away from the pad's contact area which improves bite and allows for more reliable and consistent performance. These rotors are all direct bolt-on replacements for the stock brake rotors on your Mustang GT and work perfectly with Power Stop's brake pads.

Our friends over at Power Stop put a lot of time and effort into developing a set of performance brake pads that give your Pony improved stopping ability without generating a ton of noise, brake dust, or rotor wear. These Z23 Evolution Sport ceramic pads have higher friction coefficients with practically no noise and extremely limited wear. These pads were specifically designed to fit your Mustang's stock calipers and work flawlessly with the Power Stop rotors that come with this package.
For standard front and rear brakes: This kit will only fit 2011-2014 Mustang GT models with stock front and rear brakes. Mustangs with the SVT Upgrade Package/Brembos should use this Power Stop brake kit instead.
Rotor Size: Factory 13.22" front and 11.81" rear replacements.
Power Stop Extreme Bedding Note: The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.
