Improved Stopping Power with Less Fade

The stock brake pads and blank rotors on your F150 and Raptor are "good enough," if your truck just tends to go back and forth to work with you. Even then they can still struggle to bring your heavy F150 to a short, quick stop. Power Stop's complete F150 and Raptor brake package comes with everything you need to ditch your stock brake pads and rotors forever and get improved bite and stopping power with less fade, wear, NVH, and brake dust all in one convenient kit. Power Stop's package includes a full set of four of their 6-lug drilled and slotted brake rotors and their awesome Z16 ceramic brake pads which work together to greatly improve braking function over stock. All of the F150 brake parts included in this kit fit your stock brake calipers and are easy, bolt-on performance upgrades for your truck.

Drilled and Slotted Rotors for Reduced Heat

Power Stop builds each of the rotors included in this package out of heavy-duty cast iron and adds a zinc chromate finish for a great look and extra resistance to corrosion. Each rotor is built with internal directional vanes and a cross-drilled and slotted surface. The drilled holes lead directly down into the vanes which more effectively dissipates heat from the rotor's surface than standard factory blank rotors. The slots machined into the face of each rotor help improve stopping power and consistency by brushing brake dust and debris away from the pad's contact surface. The rotors can reduce brake system temperatures by up to 180 degrees which means greatly reduced fade, especially when towing and hauling.

Ceramic Pads for Better Stopping and Less Wear

Further improving brake functionality is a full set of Power Stop Z16 ceramic brake pads for both the front and rear of your truck. Each pad features a unique carbon-ceramic friction compound that improves stopping power by up to 20% over standard factory semi-metallic pads, all while reducing noise, rotor wear, and brake dust. Each pad is manufactured using a positive-molding process that creates an even amount of friction material over the entire pad for even wear. The pads are all thermal-scorched during production for a quick break-in and reliable operation out of the box. These pads are drop-in replacements for your stock pads and are effective upgrades for just about any application.

Power Stop F150 Brake Rotors

Power Stop Extreme Bedding Note: The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.

2012 F-150 Ecoboost Crew Cab
I had about 80,000 miles on my stock brakes and decided to replace them with the PowerStop rotors and pads after reading several good reviews. The main reason for replacing the set was that my stock brakes would shudder, even when braking lightly. I've put about 2,000 miles with this set and I'm completely satisfied. Time will tell if they continue to perform as expected. The installation was straight forward. It was about 40 degrees outside when I performed the job, and the stock rotors were stubborn coming off. But all the PowerStop parts fit perfectly, and I'm glad I decided to perform the installation myself (with the help of a friend). What I most enjoy about this set, as with a previous set of brakes on my Mustang GT, is that they don't have the head-jerking initial bite. There is a smooth, gradual application of friction with a much better feel while braking, rather than applying most of the stopping power within the first 2 inches of pedal travel. It can take some getting used to, but in the end it provides better control of braking (in my opinion). Also, while these brakes don't provide the massive initial bite, they have far superior braking power than the stock rotors and pads.

Very pleased with the performance of these brakes. Faster and shorter stopping, no shutter or noise. The break in cycle was fast and easy. Recommend getting some ceramic brake grease to use on all the moving parts and such. Didn't get any in my box. And I don't know about other applications, but on mine the dust covers rubbed the back of the rotors so I had to bend those out of the way. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star review.

My stock brakes shuttered and one rotor was warped. I purchased these for more stopping power and boy do they perform awesome. Not only did it fix my stock brake problems they look amazing! Took about 4 hours on my driveway to put them on. Stage3motorsports shipped fast and arrived perfect. These are well worth the money!

Nice set up. Easy to install, except, the new pads must be put into the caliper a certain way. Its a good idea to review the install instructions on line before beginning. Good stopping power while towing a car. If these last as long as my original brakes (40,000) I am a happy camper.

Great value, shipped well, easy install, high quality product. Brakes work great and have a good feel, definitely better than stock. I only have 1000 mi on them so far, so we'll see. I did notice one very very small groove in the rotor like there was an imperfection on the outside right rear brake pad. Hoping it just wears down and works itself out. Very happy with my purchase.

Received the kit within a week which was great for me as I installed this past thursday and friday. Install was easy enough just finding time to do it was tricky, I am overall really pleased with how they have turned out so far. Definitely catch my eye when walking up to the truck as they really stand out behind my Method wheels, stopping power is great and pretty smooth after the initial break in procedure that i've done. Definitely worth for anyone looking for rotors and brakes!

2013 F150 XLT Ecoboost
Install Time was about 3.5 hours. Would have been faster if I had a big enough floor jack instead of the one that comes with the truck. Extremely straight forward installation. Bedding process was easy but finding the right road can be tricky. I followed the procedure but it was around 30 degrees so it probably could have used more repetitions. The pads made noise for the first 2-3 days during the last 5-10 feet before coming to a complete stop. I have a very short commute and this was during a snowstorm so I'm sure this would be shorter or nonexistent for those with a longer commute or warmer conditions. After 600 miles the braking is excellent. No issues whatsoever. Compared to the OEM brakes these are certainly an upgrade. I wouldn't call them aggressive but they do provide a great bite on the highway and I haven't experienced any fade through several 2-3 hour drives. Two things I noticed during installation. The front brake pads aren't labeled for interior/exterior. Also, brake pad lubricant wasn't included with the front brakes.

The original brakes were not bad but once they got hot, they lost braking power. I installed these on my truck and immediately noticed a major difference. Once these get hot, they bite hard and fast. I and trust these to slow me down much better and faster than the original brakes. I will say that the new pads will create more dust than the original pads but I dont mind that for the added power. Well worth the price. Highly recommend these.

Install went without problems. Braking is definitely smoother than OE but not as aggressive as I expected. Very soft pedal feel at first until you really get on the brakes then they stop aggressively
