Yukon's 4.11 front and rear gears are built tough and are an excellent upgrade for F150s with factory 3.31 or 3.55 gears to get some more oomph out of the throttle or to compensate for larger wheel and tire combinations. The ring and pinion gears are made out of durable 8620 gear steel that's precision cut and machined to ensure low-noise operation at any speed in just about any application. Both the front and rear set of gears come with their very own Yukon Master Install Kits which include all the bearings, seals, shims, and other hardware you need to give both your front and rear differentials a total overhaul of their wearable parts so that your F150 runs smoothly and reliably long after your gear installation.
Highly Effective Eaton TrueTrac Rear Limited Slip Differential
For improving rear traction, our Ultimate kit includes an Eaton TrueTrac Torsen Limited Slip Differential. The Eaton TrueTrac is a leaps and bounds improvement over the factory LSDs, especially if yours has more than a few miles on it already, thanks to its Torsen internal design that uses helical gears rather than more standard clutch-types. The TrueTrac engages smoothly, quietly, and immediately and even features a maintenance-free design and doesn't require periodic clutch pack or spring replacement. The TrueTrac installs right into place of your F150's factory differential and is a great way to make sure you have more than adequate traction from your F150's rear end when you head off-road.
Awesome Front Traction with an Eaton eLocker Electronic Locking Differential
Since the front drivetrain of your truck already operates like a limited slip system thanks to the way its ABS works, it takes one heck of an upgrade to make a noticeable improvement in differential and traction performance. That upgrade is the Eaton eLocker Front 8.8" IFS Differential. This electronic locking front differential locks your F150's front axles at the flip of a switch, giving you unprecedented front traction whenever you need it at just about any speed. The eLocker is built around an electromagnetic locking mechanism that grabs both front axles and ensure that torque is sent through each of them so that your F150 gets a massive boost in front end traction whenever you need it. The eLocker comes with wiring leads and a basic switch, giving you just about everything you need to get the eLocker up and running on your aggressive truck.
Professional Installation Recommended
Requires Drilling: the front eLocker differential requires drilling into your truck's front differential to run its wiring leads. Eaton includes a grommet for sealing the hole.
9.75" Rear Ends Only: this kit will only fit 2015-2020 F150s with a 9.75" rear differential. It will not fit 2015-2020 F150s that came with Ford's "Super" 8.8" rear end.
2015-2020 F150 Front Master Install Kit Note: this kit can be used with 2015 to 2020 F150s with 8.8" Front IFS differentials, however Ford changed the design of the inner axle seals on the 2015-2020 F150s and the ones included in Yukon's install kit will not work. OEM Inner Axle Seals will need to be sourced from a local Ford dealer for a complete installation.
