304 Stainless Steel Headers with 1-7/8" Primaries and 3" Collectors
The long tube headers included in this kit were carefully designed by MBRP to improve flow over stock, giving your Mustang impressive power gains out of the box while supporting other bolt-on performance parts and huge levels of power. The headers are built around huge 1-7/8" primary tubes that are each precisely mandrel-bent to ensure the smooth flow of exhaust gasses out of your engine with minimal back pressure and restrictions. The primary tubes lead down into a 3" diameter collector that quickly and effectively shuttles exhaust gasses into the included catted H-pipe to maintain exhaust velocity throughout the system. The headers are made entirely out of 304 stainless steel that helps them resist both corrosion and discoloration in practically any climate or application. The headers come with new bolts for installation onto your Mustang's heads.
Extremely Efficient 3" H-Pipe with High-Flow Cats
MBRP's catted H-Pipe picks up where their long tube headers left off and help give your Pony big power gains and one of the most ferocious sounds your Mustang can muster. The H-Pipe is made using 3" diameter tubing that's mandrel-bent to ensure smooth exhaust flow. The H-pipe design gives your Mustang a deep, aggressive rumble like an old-school V8 Muscle Car. The H-Pipe comes standard with a pair of high-flow catalytic converters that improve flow over stock while keeping rasp and drone down. Like the headers, the H-pipe is made from 304 stainless steel which gives it excellent levels of corrosion resistance. The H-pipe necks down at the cat-back connection, and will fit your stock cat-back system and most aftermarket stock replacement cat-backs.
