Parts Installed: Rough Country 2.5" Leveling/Lift Kit with Shocks, 17x9" Fuel Hostage Wheels with 01mm offsets, 285/70R17 BF Goodrich KO2 Tires.

The first thing the truck needed, at least from an aesthetic standpoint, was a new set of wheels and tires. However, its decade and a half life had taken a pretty good toll on its suspension and we needed to squeeze a bit more ride height out of the front end to fit the wheels and tires we had in mind. Helping us out with both was a Rough Country 2.5" Leveling/Lift Kit. The kit comes with a new front torsion keys, new rear blocks, and a full set of front and rear shocks, all at a great price. The extra height got us the clearance we needed, while Rough Country's N2.0 rear shocks replaced our trucks OEM shocks with something that hadn't been through hell and back and gave the truck back a decent ride.

With the ride height and ride quality taken care of, it was time to add some aggressive wheels and much more capable tires to this old dog. For the wheels, Chris settled on a set of Matte Black 17x9" Fuel Hostage Wheels with an 01mm offset, that were then wrapped in 285/70R17 BF Goodrich KO2 All-Terrain Tires. The end result looks awesome and tough, and the KO2s provide a great street ride and just enough off-road traction to allow this distinguished old man to head off-pavement. However, as times change, we no longer keep these specific wheels and tires in stock, but we do have a selection of comparable Wheels and Tires.
