With an air suspension system dropping our 2015 Mustang to a ground, aggressive wheels, lighting upgrades, and some custom vinyl work, we thought we were pretty much done with our 2015 Mustang's styling. Then TruFiber came out with a whole bunch of carbon fiber body pieces and styling components that look awesome and fit it surprisingly well with our bright Competition Orange paint job. Needless to say, we grabbed basically every Carbon Fiber part for the 2015 Mustangs in TruFiber's arsenal and promptly got busy.
The first couple of carbon fiber pieces we got on out project car were the 2015 Mustang TruFiber Carbon Fiber Radiator Cover and the 2015 Mustang TruFiber Carbon Fiber Fuse Box Cover. The radiator cover is especially impressive, mostly because of its size, and really adds an extremely aggressive look to our Mustang's engine bay. Both covers were extremely easy to install, which made it a breeze to get an awesome appearance. The end result is pretty amazing. Sadly, all the carbon fiber parts we used on this build are no longer sold on our website. Shop Carbon Fiber Parts to achieve that sporty look.
Next, we moved on to our 2015 Mustang's body, where we added carbon fiber all over the place to absolutely magnificent effect. TruFiber's 2015 Mustang XR10 Side Skirts have an OE-Style shape, but the carbon fiber weave pattern adds a unique look over the factory skirts, and the bright finish catches your eye much better than the boring stock thermoplastic (but then again, what wouldn't). The 2015 Mustang TruFiber Carbon Fiber Blackout Panel deletes the rear Pony emblem, which is great if you're going for a clean sleeper build, and the weave pattern looks sweet against our orange paint. Last, but not least (though they are small), are the 2015 Mustang TruFiber Carbon Fiber Mirror Triangles. While we weren't totally sold on the purpose of these things, they look good on the car and tie in the other carbon fiber pieces for a more complete appearance for the whole Mustang.
With the engine bay and exterior taken care of, we moved on to the interior for some carbon fiber renovations for the interior. For that, we grabbed ourselves TruFiber's 2015 Mustang Carbon Fiber Window Switch Covers and their 2015 Mustang Carbon Fiber Door Sills. The window switch covers look great against the interior color scheme while changing the overall appearance. The door sills are a nice upgrade over the standard door sills, mostly because the stock door sills are boring black plastic instead of something more interesting. TruFiber's carbon fiber door sills are definitely interesting, especially after we decked them out with custom orange vinyl.
While not carbon fiber, we decided to add a finishing touch to our 2015 Mustang's exterior appearance with a set of our 2015 Mustang Vinyl Hood Spears. These decals follow the two ridges in your Mustang's hood and are available in a variety of color and lettering options so that you have a ton of choices for your aggressive 2015 Mustang. We personally went with matte black vinyl with "EcoBoost" lettering cutout with awesome results.
