Like most trucks straight off the showroom floor, our 2017 F250 Project Truck came with a lot of front rake, which gave it a goofy look and limited our choices in tire size. In order to get this Super Duty leveled out and ready for action we grabbed a new leveling kit, 35" Toyo Open Country tires and 20" Fuel Maverick Wheels. While a lot of leveling kits just come with spacers and leave the rest of the front suspension to its own devices, ReadyLift's 2.5" kit comes with shock extensions, sway bar brackets, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and spring spacers so that our entire front suspension operates as it should while getting a taller ride height. After running the ReadyLift system we swapped in a new BDS 2" Leveling Kit with Fox Shocks. A 2 inch leveling kit doesn't sound like much for a truck the size of our 2017 F250, but it was just the right amount to clear our 35" Toyo Open Country Tires and we welcomed the improved ride comfort that came from having upgraded Fox shocks. With a leveling kit installed, it was time to get more aggressive with the wheels on our Super Duty. We didn't go too wild with this build and decided to bolt on some Fuel Maverick's which are a simple, clean, off road wheel that we've enjoyed on a few of our other project trucks. We chose a set that are 20x10" with a -12mm offset to set them outside the fenders just slightly and give us a wider stance. Shop 20x10" Wheels for Super Duty
We wrapped up our new Fuel Maverick wheels in a set of 35x12.50" Toyo Open Country M/T tires so that we got excellent off-road traction and performance. These tires feature a unique tread pattern with deep grooves for getting into and out of some of the most extreme off-road conditions with ease. Their sidewalls not only have biting edges that look aggressive but are also very handy when it comes to traversing rocks, mud, snow and any other extreme conditions we come into contact with. 35x12.50R20LT Toyo Open Country M/T tires
