We here at Stage 3 love our lift kits, loud exhausts and meaty tires as much as the next guy, but we also love the simple mods that make big changes in the usefulness and functionality of a truck. Our 2017 F250 got plenty of accessories and utility mods to ensure it had the rugged utility you'd expect from this workhorse. We threw on AMP Power Steps, WeatherTech Window Deflectors, an AVS Hood Protector and more. MORE INFO ON OUR ACCESSORY INSTALLS
The 6.7L Turbo Diesel engine in our F250 isn't starving for power in any form so you'd think we'd just leave it alone... but this is still Stage 3 so of course we didn't. Instead we went ahead and added an S&B cold air intake and a Magnaflow 4" exhaust for some additional power and style. MORE INFO ON OUR ENGINE & EXHAUST UPGRADES
Typically, we would consider tonneau covers an "accessory" , but in the case of this F250 build, we're installing and testing so many different versions we had to create an entire category for it! We've already tested the Extang Solid Fold 2.0, the Undercover Flex and a few others, so jump in and read our thoughts on these tonneaus as we put them to work on our 2017 Super Duty build. With an interior as comfortable and well outfitted as the one in our 2017 Super Duty, it would be foolish not to take care of it. We quickly tossed out the factory carpet floor mats in favor of the much more effective Husky WeatherBeater Mats that are built to fit the contours of our F250's floor. It's hard to find things to complain about with our 2017 F250, but we did notice some room for improvement in the lighting department. The first thing we grabbed was a set of Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights to give us some better light output on the road. After that, we stepped up to something more off road worthy and wired in Baja Design's Squadron Sport Fog Light Kit to truly light up the night! MORE INFO ON OUR LIGHTING UPGRADES
Instead of jumping straight into a massive lift right off the bat, we decided to test out a few different leveling kit options on our 2017 F250 to see what kind of stance and off-road capability we could gain. The kits we tested were the ReadyLift 2.5" Spacer Kit and the BDS 2" System. We also mounted up a set of 35" Toyo Open Country M/T tires on 20x10" Fuel Maverick Wheels. While our Super Duty project truck performed well with leveling kits, this is still Stage 3, and if there's one thing we love, it's lifted trucks. We gave our 2017 F250 a proper step up in size by installing a new BDS 4" Radius Arm Suspension Lift Kit with Fox 2.0 Shocks. With the new lift kit installed, we kept our set of 37" Toyo Open Country M/T tires and 20x10" Fuel Maverick Wheels. MORE INFO ON OUR LIFT, WHEELS & TIRES
Our Super Duty has a tendency to fill any empty space on any given trail due to it's size. This can lead to some problems when it comes to keeping the body work safe so we armored up our F250 with Fab Fours Vengeance front and rear bumpers! Now we have better protection, more places to mount lights and some extremely rugged styling. MORE INFO ON OUR FRONT & REAR BUMPERS
Subtle and quiet aren't words often used to describe us. We love nothing more than showing off our project trucks in a flurry of flying dirt and off road chaos. Thankfully, we've captured all the glory for you to behold in the form of photos and videos. Check out this section for all the great content showcasing our 2017 F250 build in action!
