Easy install, only needing some hand tools (though an impact helps reduce time). Provided a much needed rear lift after Icon Stage 2 Coilover install.

The springs are of good quality, and easy install. The only downfall of these springs is they don't have the alignment hole. Instructions say to remove the factory alignment pin. The result is the spring twists once driving. I purchased brackets to fix this.

With the canopy, and the bed loaded fully, and the trailer loaded fully (about 4000 lbs and about 300 lb or so tongue weight) The frame was on the axle. With this leaf, it now has a little room before it even hits the overload.

Customer Question There seem to be some different answers and customer reviews related to u-bolts and the center pin. Do these come with everything you need to install, or do you need additional hardware? Also, will they work with the Ranger Tremor model?

Asked by: Kevin - 4/27/2023
Customer Answer These come with a set of longer alignment pins and do allow you to reuse the factory u-bolts if you choose not to replace them.

Customer Question Will this make the rear a really stiff ride

Asked by: John - 8/17/2021
Customer Answer In general, add-a-leafs do add a bit of stiffness to rear end ride quality, though a lot of that can be mitigated with aftermarket rear shocks. That being said, if you are concerned about maintaining your truck's ride quality, you may want to go with another method of lifting your truck's rear end or getting load support. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question Do these add any height?

Asked by: damon magenau - 3/29/2021
Customer Answer These add-a-leafs add 1.5" to 2" of ride height after settling depending on the condition of the stock leaf packs and rear suspension in general.

Customer Question Will these address the driver side lean that these tracks inherently have?

Asked by: MontanaPilot - 3/7/2021
Customer Answer They'll help to some extent, since they handle load better than stock, but the real issue is that the Rangers just have a lot of their weight on the driver's side, especially with the fuel tank over there.

Customer Question Since this ships directly from Auto Spring, will things work out if I specify the 1-1 1/2" spring rather than the advertised 1 1/2-2" spring in the comments of my order? I want to beef up the back in terms of load offset (600 lbs) but not add much more lift

Asked by: ProtonDeday - 12/7/2020
Customer Answer This particular part number is only meant for the 1.5" to 2" springs. In general, it's tough to get an add-a-leaf to set your truck at a specific ride height, but if you want to custom order an add-a-leaf or looking into possibly doing a complete leaf pack, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question My 2020 Ford Ranger XLT SPORTS PAK ; payload1585; IM GOING to PUT A TRAVEL LITE TRUCK CAMPER ON IT (1185 lbs) . To get a couple hundred pounds extra payload for gear and supplies. Adds up quick!! Is the Ranger equipped to fit additional springs ?

Asked by: Joe - 11/29/2020
Customer Answer The add-a-leaf kit won't increase your truck's stated/rated payload, GVWR, or GCWR capacities, but they will help you support more load without the rear end squatting to the point where you get drivability issues. The Rangers accept this add-a-leaf kit and reuse the factory U-bolts.
