This extremely impressive, home-grown driveshaft is made out of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum that, coupled with the driveshaft's one-piece design, can help your Mustang hold up to 900 horsepower and 3450lb-ft of torque. Even though it's much stronger than stock, this driveshaft only weighs in at 16 pounds, which gives your Mustang less rotating mass and can easily add up to 15 horsepower to your output all on its own. High-Quality Design Using Advanced Construction Materials

The secret to this driveshaft's amazing levels of power-holding is its advanced design that utilizes some of the best materials on the market. Arizona Driveshaft manufactures each of these driveshafts our of tubular 6061-T6 aluminum with a wall thickness of 0.125" that's then capped off with high-quality solid Spicer 1350 HD U-joints. The pinion flange is custom made by Arizona Driveshaft and each of these driveshafts features Sonnax Forged and precision machined slip yokes that are machined to rigorous specifications with extra-thick pilot welds for extra consistency. Each driveshaft is carefully manufactured to be a drop-in replacement for your factory driveshaft and will bolt up to your Mustang's stock transmission and rear differential.

Transmission Fitment: this driveshaft will only fit Mustangs equipped with a Tremec T-56 Magnum XL six-speed transmission. The driveshaft will not fit with the stock 5-Speed transmission.

Fitment notes: For applications lowered 1-2 inches (standard lowering springs), the E-Brake cable bracket must be moved 1.5 inches away from the driveshaft tunnel. For Mustangs lowered 2 inches or more, the E-Brake cable bracket must be relocated as described above, and the two metal flanges must be bent flat or completely removed. On 2005 to early 2008 Mustangs, the factory stiffening plate will need to be flattened down for proper clearance.
