Uprated Braking Performance

Power Stop's fantastic rotors strike a near-perfect balance between braking performance and pricing. This pair of 13" drilled and slotted rotors are designed as replacements for the original rotors found in uprated Saleen and Ford's optional Brembo brake packages. PowerStop's rotors are absolute must-haves for anyone with a Saleen or Brembo equipped Mustang whose braking performance has started to wane due to worn-out rotors.

Improved Stopping Power

PowerStop's rotors are designed from the ground up to provide better stopping power than stock rotors while reducing brake fade and dust generation during hard stops or continual brake usage. The drilled holes all lead down into the rotors' internal vane structure which propels heat away from the contact surface much more efficiently than stock. The slotted surfaces of each rotor move brake dust and debris away from the friction surfaces to provide more consistent braking under a wide array of applications. The rotors come in a zinc dichromate finish that helps prevent corrosion and provides a silver color.

Fitment: These rotors will only fit 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 Mustang GT and Saleen Mustangs with Saleen or Brembo big brake kits.

Power Stop Extreme Bedding Note: The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.
