This is my second Autospring kit. Previous was on a 2012 F150. In both instances, I have been very satisfied with the quality. On my 2014, I chose the 1.5 front kit. It worked perfectly. I have 1/4 rake still and I am clearing 275 60 20 Duratracs on my factory wheels with zero rubbing. The truck has a good stance and the ride is like stock. Very satisfied with Stage3 customer service as well. Highly recommend both.

Auto springs needs to remeasure the kit for the 2015 F150. I got charged additional installation due to the fact that all 6 spring bolts were longer than the spacers so they had to shave them down. Also 1 of the welded bolts on the spacer itself was welded crooked and had to be straightened. Once all the work was complete however, the truck looks great and ride doesn't seem effected. I am going to say that until they get this worked out i would not recommend auto springs to my friends.

Had a shop install the kit, but the directions are detailed. 38.75from ground to outside center of wheel well. Kit left me with slight rake, and looks way better. Drive quality stayed the same. Not sure if there will be a MPG difference.

The 1.5 leveling kit really changed the look of the truck and left just a slight rake to the front. Did not see any reduction in fuel economy and have received a lot of good comments about the look of the truck vs factory setting.

Ordered from Stage3Motorsports and dropped shipped directly from AS. Recieved quickly and on my 2016 Platinum 4x4 5.5ft Bed this 1.5 leveling kit practically leveled the truck and left about 1/2 inch of rake in the back if even that much. I installed BFG KO2 275/65/20 on the truck with no issues. I had dealer install and they didn't complain about any issues with the product.

I found these to be the least expensive on the market, other than off brand eBay kits. These installed easy, definitely listen and get it realigned afterwards. I went with the 1.5 kit, the truck stance is perfect. Still has a slight forward rake, exactly what I was after. I put on 33 tires and haven't rubbed at all. With the tires and the lift, I gained some much needed clearance and the factory chin spoiler no longer sits so close to the ground. Very happy with the product.

Bought these to raise the front end of my truck without completely leveling it, and couldn't be happier. The truck now has a much better stance, but still has a slight rake (about .5 inch) so it can haul weight without squatting. They were very well made and did not change the ride quality.

Great product. Does exactly as advertised. The 1.5 spacer is exactly what I wanted and leaves just a little bit of rake. This way it doesn't look squatty with the trailer hooked up. BUT the install video is misleading in one spot. Those lower strut bolts DO NOT pop out like shown in the video. I beat the ever living sh@t out of them with a 5lbs hammer and they didnt budge. Had to take both strut towers to a shop with an air hammer to get them out.

The Auto Spring 1.5 level kit shipped fast and arrived fast and came exactly as described, high quality precision cut steel. Installation and wheel alignment was at the Ford dealer and took their mechanic about 2.5 hours. On my 2014 F150 the Auto Spring 1.5 level kit with new front shocks equalled two inches of lift. The ride and handling is excellent. Five stars to both Stage3 Motorsports and the Auto Spring 1.5 level kit.

I've had my 1.5 leveling kit on my truck for roughly a year now...and although it's great, it's certainly lost a lot of lift over time. I'd say it's dropped by about an inch since it's installation, meaning I gained-in total-about 1/2 from factory. Personally, if I were to purchase again, I'd go for the 2-2.5 leveling kit for a longer, more impactful look. My F-150 has the 20 machined aluminum wheels - for those looking for a comparison.

Customer Question Can I stack this 1.5" with my Fox 2.0's?

Asked by: Big Al - 9/25/2022
Customer Answer In theory, you can. However, we don't recommend taking the F150s beyond a total of 3" of front leveling, so you'd have to adjust the Fox 2.0s down. We also recommend using an aftermarket UCA beyond 2.5" of leveling.

Customer Question I read a couple reviews on the 1.5 Auto Spring level kit that stated they had to shave or cut down the original coil over bolts to make it fit. I have 2015 fx4. Was curious if that is true on the 1.5? Thank you

Asked by: John Travolta - 8/20/2020
Customer Answer Unfortunately, we can't guarantee whether or not you'll have to trim. The F150s from 2014-2020 had strut mounts from several different OES suppliers and stud lengths can vary considerably. If you want to avoid all chances of trimming, you'll need to use a 2" leveling kit.

Customer Question I see a few reviews saying the bolts are too long for the 2015 F150 and had to be cut down to fit. Has this issue been resolved? Looking to add the 1.5" to a 2015 2wd and i'll be having the dealership install it. I don't want there to be any extra cutting/fabricating necessary.

Asked by: Ryan - 4/17/2017
Customer Answer Unfortunately, Ford's upper strut mounts were sourced from multiple manufacturers, and we can't strictly guarantee that you won't need to trim your strut mount studs.

Customer Question Hi, Is the black powder coat finish more durable than the black polyurethane finish?

Asked by: Brian - 11/10/2016
Customer Answer In general, yes. The powder coat finish is more durable than the polyurethane finish. However, since the spacer is almost totally shoved into the upper strut bucket, the polyurethane finish will suffice for most applications.

Customer Question I have a 2016 F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 on order, and am interested in this 1.5" leveling kit. Do you know if leveling kits void any factory warranties?

Asked by: TT KAMMER - 7/24/2016
Customer Answer In general, a basic leveling kit won't have an effect on your truck's overall powertrain or bumper to bumper warranty. However, all warranty decisions are up to individual dealerships, and your best bet would be to talk to your service center directly to see what kind of leeway they'll give.

Customer Question Can I fully expect to get the truck completely back into alignment and same ride quality as before WITHOUT having to buy and install the cam bolts?

Asked by: 2wd guy - 6/27/2016
Customer Answer You should not need caster or camber bolts to correct your truck's alignment with this 1.5" spacer kit, assuming that you're not installing the spacer on top of any other leveling kit or coilover.

Customer Question Looking to buy and install a 1.5 AS leveling kit on my 2015 f150, is it necessary to also install a camber kit for a proper wheel alignment with this leveling kit?

Asked by: Steven Del - 3/11/2016
Customer Answer Camber bolts or other camber correction kits are not usually required for this kit. The vast majority of alignment shops can set your truck's alignment back to specs without them.

Customer Question I have a 2014 super crew 4x4 short bed, I'm down 1 3/4 in the front compared to the rear. What will a 1 1/2 or 2" kit add to the front. Would like a shight rake but dont want to be rear down when towing. What is the actual thickness of these kits? Last steel vs other options

Asked by: Jerry Wilke - 2/25/2016
Customer Answer The spacer adds 1.5" of ride height to the front end of your truck. The spacer's actual height is slightly shorter than that, due to the fact that ride height is based on a ratio of your truck's suspension geometry. In general, a 2.5" leveling kit will leave you 100% dead-level. A 1.5" leveling kit will still leave you with a good amount rake so that you won't be nose-high when you tow.

Customer Question What's the difference between the black powder coating and the polyurethane?

Asked by: Robert - 2/5/2016
Customer Answer Other than the material used, the powder coated spacers tend to be more durable and resistant to scratches and nicks. However, since the leveling kit is shoved into your truck's strut perch, getting the higher-grade powder coating isn't exactly a necessity.

Customer Question I have a 2014 f150 4x4 supercab, and I pull a travel trailer that weights in at about 6000lbs. Would this lift kit be OK to still pull my camper?

Asked by: Daniel - 1/18/2016
Customer Answer The spacer doesn't effect load capacity, and leaves a decent amount of front rake for towing so you don't go nose-high when loaded. Granted, you may want to gauge how much your truck squats when loaded and towing your camper.

Customer Question I am looking for a high quality durable spacer that I can put on and not worry about when doing ranch work (I need some ground clearance, but need rake for hauling) is this it? Would a adjustable suspension be better to I don't lose travel? 2014 Ford F150

Asked by: Alex - 9/18/2015
Customer Answer If you need to keep a decent amount of front rake, then this kit would probably be one of the better options among the spacer kits. Whether a set of aftermarket leveling struts or coilovers will be better really depends on the type of work you're doing and what kind of terrain you're working on. If it's a typical ranch setting with only light off-roading and without a ton of articulating your suspension, you should be okay with just the spacers.

Customer Answer In general, a leveling kit alone with have extremely minimal impact on your truck's fuel economy. However, your choice of tires can play an extremely large role, and you can easily lose a full mpg or more depending on the size, weight, and tread pattern of a given tire.

Customer Answer The split in fitments for the 2013 and 2014 F150s was dead-set, and has to do with the offset that Auto Spring uses for their leveling systems. You'll need to get the kit for the 2014 F150s specifically.

Customer Question I am looking right now to level the front end and make it even with the rear, is this product what I am looking for to even it out? It is a 2014 f150 supercab fx4. And also any negative effects?

Asked by: Will - 7/12/2014
Customer Answer You typically need at least a 2" leveling kit to get an even, dead-level stance for your truck. As with most spacers, this kit can cause some porpoising when turning at full lock and may cause your upper control arms to contact your springs during full articulation. Overall ride quality on the street will still be pretty good and smooth.
