Lets start by saying that I am certified ASE Master Technician and if you follow the directions you will not go wrong, again follow the directions. This set actually brought the truck up about 2 3/8 , only 3/8 difference between the front and the rear, loaded up the truck w/about 700 lbs of gear for 4th of July camping trip and truck was perfectly level. This is the only set that I found tells you to lower the lower control arm and there is a reason for it - you can not get the springs back in w/out a a good quality spring compressor, if you follow the directions all will go smoothly. Passenger side took me 45 minutes out and in, the driver side took about 30 once I figured out fords front end, impacts make life easier but this was all done w/breaker bars and ratchets. Mark the lower control arm nuts and bolts w/masking tape and draw a line around them so they go back exactly were they are suppose to. I installed this way went and had an alignment done and was only off by less than a .5 , I then marked all nuts on install w/torque seal so all I have to do it look under to see if anything moved. At this time, over 500 miles nothing has shifted. Again follow the directions and anyone can do this. Don't forget to reset your headlight also, adjustment screw is on top, well not really a screw but a star gear, use a #2 Phillips mark out 25 ft, measure from ground to headlight bezel and mark on wall, put beam on bottom of tape on wall and headlights are adjusted.

I love the way my truck looks. I almost went with the 11/2 because i wanted to go conservative. I decided at the last minute to go with the 2 and i couldn't be happier ! its still has the ever so slight forward rake. From most angles the truck looks perfectly level. I have received many compliments since adding the level kit !

Product worked as described. Perfect lift on the front of my truck it is exactly 3/4 inch lower than the back so its perfect when I hook up the boat. The ride was not affected but I did an alignment and my toe was out like I suspected. Its was -.5 degree negative on both sides. Not a big deal but I like everything in spec, especially being it has 1,300 miles on it. Will be buying more products from Stage3.

Very nice. You don't need the powder coating option. Once they're on you won't see them. Perfect size with a very slight rake. 34x10.50 KO2 tires on 17in rims with absolutely no problems. Instructions very good just like to add two helpful tips that worked for me. Pound out the bottom bolts when removing strut assembly. So much easier for removal and installation. You'll also have to rotate the bottom bushing. Stick bottom bolt flange in a vise and use weight of strut assembly to rotate bushing.

Just added these to the truck over the weekend, and love the way it looks now. I have a supercrew with a 6.5 bed and did not care for the factory forward rake. After install, the front is up 2.25 in total, but settled to a net of 2 after alignment. Still left about 1/2 of rake from back to front which is great since I haul/tow from time to time. With regards to install, total time was about 3 hrs. You definitely have to drop the lower control arms to get it installed but it actually when pretty well with just me and some common garage tools (impact gun, floor jack, deep well sockets and jack stands). The truck rides just as good as before, but looks more like a truck should. Overall, extremely satisfied with the kit.

Very pleased with the product and service from stage3. Ordered the 2 kit to keep a slight rake which is hard to notice but I'm happy with it. Install was not terrible, I used the video instructions on YouTube. Removing the lower strut studs made putting assembly back together a breeze. However beware the video makes it look like child's play getting those studs out, maybe on a brand new vehicle it's easier, had to use a press to get mine out, expected tho for a truck with 30k miles. Be sure to get alignment after install. Ride quality was not affected with the kit on stock tires.

I got the 2 springs to give the truck a more level stance. The installation was not terribly difficult, but it was a bit harder to get the spring back in because I could not get the studs out for extra clearance. Truck is not totally level, but will look just right when you have a load in the back. Overall, accomplished the same thing that the $1000 coil-overs would for 89$, especially if your truck isnt going to be doing much hardcore off roading.

As for the product, looks and works as advertised. Pretty simple design and straight forward. However, where this is installed is a little tricky. The instructions could have been better for the removal of the strut. So I used Stage 3's video instructions and that was better. It is a booger to get those things out! I think so spring compressors would. E helpful if I did this again in the future, maybe an air hammer to push the strut bolts out from the bottom before removal of the strut. If not, then remove the entire spindle and axle shaft all together.

Product adds just what should have been done from the factory with a nice, level stance. Installation video makes it look way easier than it is to install, at least that's my experience with the 2015 and 2014 F150 I've installed this product on. The 2014 I could not get the LCA bolts loose, but that's not Stage3motorsports or Autospring's fault. Pretty straight forward install otherwise, the 2015 F150 had this product on for about 30k miles without any issues. The 2014 has had it installed for about 500 miles with no issues yet. You will need an alignment after installing as the toe will be off. I can't speak to tire size you can run w/o rubbing as I have not upgraded rims and tires yet. The picture with the hood closed is before, hood open is after install.

5 Stars. So I’m gonna lay it all out cause if anyone is like me I scoured the internet for days trying to decide on what leveling kit I wanted do I want this do I want that…so here it is. If you want to lift your truck enough to fit some bigger tires that gives it that beefier look as I call it, this will do it. As advertised it is a 2” level and it will very closely level your truck (each truck will very slightly) but without measuring you would probably not notice truck to truck. Anyway, if that’s what your going for, send it. Now, I wanted to raise my front end for bigger tires but keep some rake because I tow frequently and use my truck as a truck. So after a ton of research and a little hoping for the best…I also bought the Auto Spring add a Leaf for F150’s. I did this hoping to raise the rear a little to keep some rake and also add some payload capacity. It’s important to note that I installed the add a leaf BUT I also had them REMOVE the stock 1.25” rear blocks. If you don’t remove the stock rear blocks you will end up will a lifted truck with to much rake (in my opinion). So bottom line: Auto spring leveling blocks are solid steel, coated well, and will just make you feel better if you like well made heavy stuff. The add a leaf is also incredibly solid and well made. The add a leaf did firm up the ride…but is not harsh…and in my opinion it rides better because it gets rid of that squishy 1/2 ton ride (again my opinion) and is still way better than a 3/4 ton by far. Payload is better, ride is better, and truck looks way better. Hope this helps save you all some research time. ???? 2017 F150 FX4 2” Auto Spring and Auto Spring add a leaf Tires: 295/70r18 Falken WildPeaks No rubbing at all, No scrubbing at all…they fit perfectly. If you wanted I’m nearly positive a 35.11.50 would also fit without rubbing.

The instructions are close enough that you can figure it out. If you're doing this on the ground in your driveway (like I did) make sure you have 2 people to get the control arm lined up to reconnect to the frame. If you have a spring compressor, it would make this job a thousand times easier. Looks great. Did the 2 inch on the front and nothing on the back and it's as level as I could ever want it. Pulled my camper last weekend and the rear didn't look out of place compared to the front.

Customer Question I have a 2019 f150 and just ordered this 2" kit. What would be the largest tire I could run without rubbing?

Asked by: Matt - 6/18/2021
Customer Answer That depends entirely on what wheel you're running, specifically its width, offset, and backspacing. In general, we usually recommend a 33x11.50" tire or close metric equivalent. If you want to get more specific, please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question I've ordered 295/70 R17 tires to be mounted on 17 x 8.5 wheels (0 offset) for my 2016 F150 FX4... will this 2 in spacer give me the clearance I need or should I purchase the 2.5 in spacer?

Asked by: Chad - 4/6/2021
Customer Answer A 2.5" spacer would be safer, but you could likely get away with a 2" spacer during normal street driving. You may see a bit of rub when articulating and turning hard off-road, but you would likely only need extremely minor amounts of trimming to make that go away.

Customer Question WIth the 1.5 inch auto spring leveling kit there is a lot of mention about grinding down studs. Is that the case with the 2 inch leveling kit?

Asked by: Esclo13 - 3/6/2019
Customer Answer It is not, since the 2" kit includes taller spacers. The problem with the 1.5" kit, is that the spacers are sometimes shorter than studs themselves, which is why grinding is sometimes required.

Customer Question I just purchased this product, Autospring 2” leveling kit. It was supposed to be 2” but the physical height measurement is 1 1/4”. Did I receive the wrong product? The box did not contain an invoice and the instructions are for all of their spacer kits.

Asked by: Jon - 7/7/2018
Customer Answer The spacer adds 2" of front leveling, but is not actually 2" tall. The IFS front suspension of the F150s adds ride height in a ratio, and it does not take a 2" tall spacer to generate 2" of lift.

Customer Question What is the difference between the polyurethane and powdercoat? Are they different materials, plastic vs steel and will they both hold up well or is one better than the other?

Asked by: JEFF - 6/29/2018
Customer Answer The spacers themselves are always made out of steel, but can come with either a standard polyurethane dipped finish or a powder coat finish at an extra price. In theory, the powder coat finish is more durable, but with the leveling spacers being shoved up into the strut mount bucket, they don't really have a much of an opportunity to get really beat up. We usually only recommend the powder coat version if you're in an area that uses heavy salt during the winter.

Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (7/2/2018)

Customer Question Is the Black Powder Coat better to have than the Polyurethane version? What are the differences besides the price?

Asked by: Jason - 1/5/2018
Customer Answer The version of these spacers with the black powder coat finish are more corrosion resistant than the ones with a polyurethane finish. However, since the spacers are shoved into your truck's strut bucket, there's not a huge chance of them getting corroded in the first place. We usually only recommend the powder coated versions to folks that live in places where there's heavy road salt use during the winters.

Customer Question I noticed in the install video that you just rotated the complete strut 180 degrees after putting on the spacer/level kit . I would like to know is that ok for the plate on the bottom of the strut where the bolts go to hold it to the lower controll arm ? I also seen Videos where people use a spring compressors and just rotate the top plate on the strut 180 degrees. is your method safe and dosent damage the bottom part of the strut at all ?

Asked by: Ian L - 8/16/2017
Customer Answer We didn't have any issues after our install, though using a spring compressor would also work. The only issue is that not everyone hand-held spring compressor kit can adequately compress the F150's springs due to their large-ish diameters and spring strength. The only compressor they had on-hand for the install was a floor-mounted shop spring compressor, which is why they opted for a full strut assembly reversal.

Customer Question Would 33x12.50/20 tire with a wheel with -44mm offset fit a 2017 f150 5.0 with this 2 inch lift? Or would a 305/55 series work better as its not as wide as the 33x12.50 with the same -44mm offset wheel? I see in the previous Q&A limited on width due to the crash bars but no talk on what width is too wide. Thanks

Asked by: Nicholas Dadosky - 6/28/2017
Customer Answer You'd likely get at least some valance rub with either tire option, though it's tough to say once you start getting into wheels with extreme offsets. To be on the safe side, I'd do at least a 2.5" leveling kit, and even then, absolutely no valance rubbing is tough to guarantee.

Customer Question Will a 2.5 inch leveling kit level the truck completely? Also, is 2.5 inches safe to do?

Asked by: Eddie - 11/15/2016
Customer Answer It's our opinion that a 2.5" leveling kit gets the 2014-2016 F150s about dead-level. A 2" leveling kit like this one tends to leave a hint of front rake. Auto Spring's 2.5" Leveling Kit is here.

Customer Question Will this product void any manufacturer warranty?

Asked by: Irishman03 - 11/4/2016
Customer Answer In general, a basic bolt-on leveling kit won't have an overall effect on your truck's powertrain or bumper-to-bumper warranties. However, all warranty decisions are up to individual dealerships, and they could potentially refuse to cover a given suspension-related repair under the terms of your warranty if they believe the leveling kit was the cause. Your best bet would be to talk to your service department directly and see what kind of leeway they give.

Customer Question Confused... I emailed AS to ask why they don't sell an offset version of their spacer in the 2" size, they responded that an offset is only needed in the 2.5" size. After more research, I came across the ready lift 2.25" kit and in their details they claimed that all levels for 2015 &16s need to be offset due to the changes in our suspension. Any idea on who's correct?

Asked by: John - 10/25/2016
Customer Answer An offset design isn't strictly required for any spacer, regardless of size, and there's plenty of spacers that add up to 2.5" of height without any offset at all. All an offset design really does is make getting an alignment easier and helps prevent UCA contact with your coilover assembly's spring, since the offset preserves a closer to OEM caster and camber angle for the strut assembly. Basically, while an offset design is beneficial once you go beyond 2" of ride height gain, it's not strictly necessary in most cases and both Auto Spring and ReadyLift are both technically correct.

Customer Question I installed your 2" leveling kit on my supercab.I just purchased 20x9 +12 wheels, what size tires you think I could fit with no issues?

Asked by: Kevin - 7/6/2016
Customer Answer Without doing any trimming whatsoever, you could probably fit a 305/55R20 (33x12") tire on without any issues. You could probably squeeze on a 295/60R20 or even a 305/60R20 if you're willing to do some valance/air dam trimming. That being said, if you're planning on doing other modifications in the future (i.e. uniball UCAs, remote reservoir coilovers, etc.), then you may want to consider doing a narrower tire or giving us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 for other options.

Customer Question I have a 2014 2wd F150, and I have talked to several people about the installation of any leveling kit in general. Some people say that they didn't disconnect the EPAS System and some say they did or they disconnected the battery from the truck. I am just trying to figure out what I will have to do before I purchase a kit?

Asked by: Austin - 3/30/2016
Customer Answer Auto Spring's instructions recommend disconnecting the Electronic Steering during installation and reconnecting it after install is complete.

Customer Question Are the spacers all I would need to perches to level truck?

Asked by: Ted - 3/24/2016
Customer Answer Yep. Spacers are all that's required. In general, a 2" spacer kit will leave a slight amount of front rake, while a 2.5" spacer kit will get your truck pretty close to dead-level.

Customer Question I'd like to install this on my 2015 2wd F150. Would I need to install an oem size 1.5in block in the rear (like the 4wd models) to maintain a slight rake? I do tow a camper so I don't want to sit perfectly level and are going with 295/55/20 tires.

Asked by: Eric - 1/17/2016
Customer Answer This kit should still leave you with a slight rake, even on a 2WD truck. However, if you do tow a fairly heavy camper, then you may need more to keep the truck level after its squats while loaded. Your best bet would be to see where you're at after the leveling kit install and decide a rear block size from there.

Customer Question I had the 2inch auto spring kit installed and now i have a loud wheel noise/ tires are loud. They are the stock dyna pro tires i think they are... Any ideas whats causing this?

Asked by: D House - 11/19/2015
Customer Answer If you didn't get an alignment, then that can be your issue. If you did, check that all bolts are tightened to factory specs and that the spacers are seated properly. If you still need assistance after that, please call us directly at 1-877-578-2433.

Customer Question I have a 2015 2WD XLT. I want to lift it up enough to clear 33's easily and look good without sacrificing ride quailty. The higher the better as long as it rides well. Does this kit have advantages over the 2.5? Also which rear block would I need to achieve the look I want. I don't mind a slight rake but hat the front high 4runner look.

Asked by: ronsws6 - 10/30/2015
Customer Answer 2" of leveling should leave a slight front rake on your truck after break-in, and you shouldn't need a rear block at all. You should be able to clear 33" tall tires, though you are going to be somewhat limited on width due to the 2015's crash bars. The only real advantages of a 2" leveling kit is that it does keep some factory rake which means your truck won't be nose-high when towing or hauling and a 2" kit won't throw off your UCA and LCA angles quite as much as a 2.5" kit.

Customer Question I would like to put a level in my 2015 Ford f150 ecoboost. It seems with the crew cab and 6.5 foot bed it has a pretty apparent rake that I would like to get rid of. I tow a 17 foot aluminum boat and plan on getting a travel trailer (probably around 5000 lbs loaded) so how much can I expect my towing to be affected and will it raise the front end too much?

Asked by: Josh - 9/20/2015
Customer Answer A 2" leveling kit will still leave you with some amount of front rake. A 2.5" leveling kit provides much closer to a dead-level stance. However, keeping some rake may be in your best interest given how much you're towing, though you may also want to consider doing a 1.5" leveling kit so you don't end up nose-high when loaded. Granted, kit choice is also going to depend on what size tires you want to run, so you may just want to give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what you want to do.

Customer Question Does the installation affect the alignment (does it need to have an alignment performed after installation)?

Asked by: Phil - 8/28/2015
Customer Answer Yep. An alignment is highly recommended as the kit can throw off your toe angle to some degree which can lead to excess tire wear.

Customer Question What's the tallest/widest tire you can fit with the 2" front level and factory 18's? 275/70? perhaps 305/65?

Asked by: Dan - 5/14/2015
Customer Answer You should be able to fit 305/65R18s just fine. We're currently running 295/65R18s on our 2015 F150 Project truck without an issue.
