Overall took about 2 hours for the front and back. Front spacer install is a lot easier with a second set of hands and I strongly recommend dropping the lower control arm to make install of the coil over with spacer installed much more manageable. Rear add alien is straight forward, however I wish the kit included a longer set of U bolts. The stock bolts are BARELY long enough to use if you are careful about evenly torquing each bolt. I have ordered a longer set just to be on the safe side. Overall I'm pleased with the kit and the construction seems very stout. They really need to include longer U bolts for the rear to make the kit perfect. Truck sits about an inch high in the rear and was able to clear 295/70R18's with absolutely no rubbing

Leveling kit is of great quality, looks good and the payload improvement is a bonus. Kit should come with longer U bolts.

I bought this leveling kit so that I could get a little larger tire under my truck. I intalled the 2 and a 1/2 inch leveling kit in the front which made it perfectly level. But I pull a trailer a lot so I wanted some rake. After adding the leaf springs in the rear it gave me a bout an inch and a 1/2 of rake. The front of the truck rides exactly the same but it did stiffen up the rear a little bit. It was very easy to install, it only took me a couple of hours one evening to do the front and rear. I am very pleased with this kit.

Gives truck the stance and appearance I’ve been looking for but.....if your not towing or hauling often, it makes daily driving a headache, you have to hold on every bump on the road, I will be taking off my truck and replacing with a different option. I gave it time but was left disappointed.

Easy kit to install. I did it over 2 days as I wasn't in a rush to get it done. Had an alignment done right after and it rides great. Happy it adds the extra weight limit if I need to move anything heavy around.

Nice kit, does not change the ride quality at all, throws off the CV angles a little bit but I knew that when purchasing. Also center pins for the add a leaf are way too long you have to cut some threads off to get a deep socket on. And would recommend longer U bolts. Running 285/45/22 tires on factory wheels

Customer Question How are the CV angles after installing this kit? Also what size tire could I run without trimming using a 22x9 OEM 2017 F150 limited wheel? Do you recommend longer U bolts in the rear?

Asked by: Matt - 11/11/2021
Customer Answer CV angles are definitely thrown off due to this kit, but at 2.5" of front leveling, it's generally not enough to cause long-term reliability problems. If you want to avoid all chances of trimming, we generally recommend a 33x11.50" tire. On the stock limited 22" wheels, that would be roughly a 285/50R22 or possibly a 295/50R22. Longer U-bolts are generally not required. As long as you're careful to equally install the U-bolts and U-bolt nuts, you should not have issues.

Customer Question Will this kit work with the Firestone ride rite rear air spring kit ?

Asked by: Scott - 4/8/2021
Customer Answer Yep. The Firestone Kit's leaf spring u-bolts are long enough to handle the add-a-leaf kit, and since the Firestone Ride-Rite installs between the frame and the leaf springs, they're not effected by the ride height change.

Customer Question Could this be used with the Bilstein 6112 stage 3 package to give closer to a 3” lift?

Asked by: Gabe - 8/22/2020
Customer Answer It technically can be, since the 6112s do have a .5" ride height setting. However, if you are going to go that route, we do recommend using a UCA.

Customer Question Will I be able to run Lt275/65R20 on factory wheels. And with the truck have remain factory rake 2019 f150 lariat fx4

Asked by: Richard - 6/13/2019
Customer Answer You should be able to clear that tire on the stock 20" wheels. You won't have quite the same rake as a stock truck. A 2.5" level tends to make these trucks sit about dead-level, so adding a 1.5" add-a-leaf to that should give you 1.5" of rake after they break-in completely.

Customer Question Will this kit allow me to run 33 X 12.50 tires?

Asked by: AL - 5/25/2018
Customer Answer That's going to depend entirely on what wheel you're using, specifically its width, backspacing, and offset. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about your truck and its wheels.

Customer Question Will this kit allow for heavier loads/towing and still keep the headlights aimed adequately onto the road and not blind oncoming drivers or drivers in front of you. Will the ride still be close to factory or much stiffer?

Asked by: Mike - 5/4/2018
Customer Answer The Add-a-Leafs technically add some weight capacity, but you still can't violate your truck's GAWR, GVWR, or GCWR. That being said, the add-a-leafs will reduce rear sag when loaded and can help keep you from going nose-high when loaded (depending on how heavy you're going). In general, rear add-a-leaf kits do tend to add some stiffness to your truck's ride, though a lot of that can be mitigated by ditching the factory rear shocks for something better.

Customer Question I'm thinking about installing this kit on my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat FX4. Should I go ahead and replace the factory shocks while I'm at it? Can you recommend a set?

Asked by: Jsaunders - 12/8/2017
Customer Answer While not strictly required, aftermarket rear shocks can help the ride quality of your truck after the add-a-leaf install. A good choice would be Halo Lift's Boss 2.0 Rear Shocks.
