I did the install myself in my dirt driveway overall not bad the front was a little more stubborn than the back. I have to heat the steering arm nut and the upper control arm nut and melt the plastic off seemed to be the easiest way and just replace them. And for the back the two bolts that hold the spring pack together got cut off the kit comes with new ones. And the rest was a breeze. The truck looks much better still has a slight rake.

Customer Question So I just installed this lift on my truck and now I need tires I know you guys recommend 33x11.5 but I was wondering if you think I can get away with LT305/70R18 which is 34.5 tall but 9.8 wide? thanks, and the lift looks good on the truck.

Asked by: Will - 10/23/2017
Customer Answer A 305 wide tire is actually 12" wide, and you wouldn't be able to fit that tire without doing some trimming. While we recommend a 33x11.50" tire, you can potentially get away with taller and/or wider tires depending on what wheels you're using and if you're not planning on running a UCA or a true lift kit in the future. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about your truck and wheels.

Customer Question Considering using this in conjunction with the airlift load leveling kit 5000...any other parts needed?

Asked by: Jeff - 9/27/2017
Customer Answer Due to the leaf springs, you will likely also need Air Lift's Lock-n-Lift Spacers for 2" of lift.

Customer Question Will the added leaf help reduce the squat while towing my toy hauler?

Asked by: Bryant - 9/3/2017
Customer Answer Yep. The Add-a-Leaf Kit will help reduce squat, though you will still have some rake with both the 2.5" front leveling kit and the add-a-leaf kit installed.

Customer Question I have a 2011 F150 xlt 4x4 while running 275/65r18. Will this be able to support 33x12.50r18 tires?

Asked by: Alec - 1/25/2017
Customer Answer You may get some rub with true 33x12.50" tires depending on your wheel widths, offsets and backspacing. You'd likely need to do some valance trimming to get them to clear if you have a fairly aggressive offset. The biggest tires we generally recommend with 2.5" leveling kits are 33x11.50" tires to avoid rubbing issues with most wheel combinations.

Customer Question Will this lift be able to support 33 inch tires with a 2011 f150 xlt 4x4?

Asked by: Alec - 1/24/2017
Customer Answer This kit can allow you to fit 33" tires. We generally recommend a maximum of a 33x11.50" tire, though you can get away with slightly taller and/or wider tires depending on your wheel widths, offsets, and backspacing.

Customer Question OK read the 2010 q & a my questions is how much of a angle are the CVS tie Rods and ball joints going to be and will this lift/level kit cause uca to coil bind and premature wear of the previously mentioned parts vehicle is mainly a daily and it see's a lot of bad roads were i live ?

Asked by: Matt - 8/31/2016
Customer Answer The front leveling kit does throw off your truck's UCA, tie rod, LCA, and CV angles to some degree, and the UCA can bind or hit the coil spring when fully drooped. That being said, under normal driving conditions, you shouldn't experience any excess wear on any of those components, even with bad roads. If you're concerned about UCA lifespan, you can always upgrade to a set of uniball upper control arms.

Customer Question Will this list cause my truck to sit slightly higher in the front than the rear?

Asked by: Matt - 10/3/2015
Customer Answer No. If anything, you'll likely see front rake with the rear sitting higher than the front.

Customer Question Why won't this kit fit a 2014? I have tried to figure out the difference between the 2013 and the 2014. If you know please let me know

Asked by: Myers - 2/23/2015
Customer Answer Auto Spring uses a different leaf spring for the 2009-2013 F150s versus the 2014s. The version of this kit for the 2014 F150s is located right here.

Customer Question I've inherited a 2010 Ford F-150 XLT 4.6L V8. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and since it comes with zero car payment, I definitely can't scoff at it! HOWEVER, it's suspension is very vanilla and I want to add some height and eventually bigger tires to get rid of the "old farm truck" look. Would an add-a leaf system be plenty for my application since I'm just trying to improve visual, not run off road? And could you suggest anything from yalls store? Thank you so much! Look forward to pimping my ride through yall!

Asked by: Kyle - 1/26/2015
Customer Answer If you're not looking to create an off-road build, then this kit will actually work pretty well. The 2.5" spacers will let you fit on 33" tires (larger, if you don't mind trimming), while the Add-a-Leaf kit will raise rear height for a more aggressive look while improving payload capacity by up to 950lbs. If wanted to spend a bit less money and don't really care about the payload improvement, then you could just grab a larger rear block.
