By replacing your restrictive factory air box and tubing with this RAM Cold Air Intake you instantly get improved airflow for increased horsepower, torque, better gas mileage and lower EGTs. The Banks Ram Air Intake Kit is a bolt-on system that drops right in place of your factory air box and provides your engine with a larger volume of charge air at cooler temperatures and higher velocities which means
a 31% improvement over your factory stock intake system. It's built around a large diameter Banks Lifetime Filter that can be washed and re-used as many times as you need for the life of your truck so you'll never have to pay for another disposable unit at regular maintenance intervals. Because of its design, the filter only needs to be cleaned every 30,000 to 50,000 miles.
