JLT Brake Cooling Kit

Air Intake-Industry leader JLT designed this Brake Cooling Kit to bring in cool air in a similar fashion to their intake systems, but for overheated brakes. Anyone who has done any Autocross, SCCA, road coarse or even heavy on-road braking knows how important it is to keep your brake rotors cool. This kit brings cool air from your grille area to the center of your rotor for those times when cooling is crucial. The JLT Brake Duct Cooling Kit will duct the cooler outside air from the lower front fascia directly on to your front brake rotors. This is a time-proven way to cool off hot brakes and greatly improve braking performance.

GT500 Shelby Racing Style

The JLT Performance Brake Cooling Kit will not only help reduce brake temperatures, but will also give your GT500 Shelby aggressive Road Race Styling with its billet aluminum lower grille intake bezels. The JLT Brake Duct Cooling Kit comes complete with a pair of black anodized billet aluminum grille bezels with foam plugs, duct work, clamps, brackets and hardware required for installation.

Drilling Required: The 2007-2009 GT500 Shelby has provisions in the bumper cover already for a brake cooling kit so you will need to drill out the hole in the lower grille but it's a very simple and straightforward process.
