HP11 (310 Lumens) - 4 side-firing 1.5W-rated Osram LED chips, and one 5W-rated LED chip on top, which is projected by a lens for maximum effective brightness.

Yup. It should drop right in without any modifications or wiring.

I would like brighter light for backing, I think the OE bulb is a 3156, I am returning a 3157C led to a local store beccause the the base is larger and won't fit. Is your bulb compatible and brighter?

This bulb is a 3156 OE-replacement, and is compatible with your truck, assuming you have a 1997-2010 F150. It's hard to say whether or not it will be brighter than what you bought, but Diode Dynamics does offer upgraded lumen outputs which are generally much brighter than most store-bought LEDs.
